Fresh off an immensely successful headlining tour and currently gearing up for a return trip to Europe for headlining duties, Massachusetts' ALL THAT REMAINS have now been confirmed as direct support to Welsh metal band Bullet For My Valentine Stateside in May before making a return trip to Europe for the band's debut at Wacken: Open-Air 2007 in Germany.
Continuing to support the band's latest album, 'The Fall of Ideals,' ALL THAT REMAINS has already toured Europe twice for the record and will return at the end of March with Textures and Misery Signals, in addition to appearing on Ozzfest 2006 and touring Stateside with DragonForce and Killswitch Engage among others.

Los Angeles' THE FUNERAL PYRE will depart on a two week West Coast tour with Creator Destructor labelmates Cerberus. Now supporting the re-release of the band's second full-length, The Nature of Betrayal, through a distribution deal with Prosthetic Records, the tour marks THE FUNERAL PYRE's return to the road after the band's jaunt with Apiary and Dryline in November and December of 2006 and a handful of southern California appearances since then. The band will also make an appearance at the first day of California Metalfest, having played the inaugural California Metalfest last year as well, and THE FUNERAL PYRE will make its New England Metal and Hardcore Festival debut in April, playing the Fest's first date.
Grabbing influence from At The Gates, Shai Hulud, Dissection and Emperor, THE FUNERAL PYRE has been a staple in the underground Los Angeles music scene since its formation in 2000 and self-releasing several demos, a split 7 inch, and a self-financed full-length debut prior to The Nature of Betrayal.

Chris Volz, formerly of FLAW and the recently-disbanded Five.Bolt.Main, is currently recording and will be releasing his debut solo album on Rock Ridge Music this fall. The album title and track list will be announced once recording is finished. Manning the production side of things are a team including Matt Chiaravalle (Kittie, Crossbreed, Warren Zevon) and Rock Ridge Music principals. Earlier this month, the members of Five.Bolt.Main parted ways and Volz began work on his solo record.
Says Rock Ridge Music principal Jason Spiewak of the recording process: “Working with Volz has been awesome. The songs that he’s working on are deeply personal. The music and lyrics speak about his life, his experiences, his connection to music.”
Volz himself is very excited about the new material. “We’ve got a great team working on the record, and it’s giving me a chance to fully express myself in a solo capacity,” Volz says. “I’ve put a lot of time and effort into the material for this album, and it’s based on stuff I’ve worked on for years. The songs are somewhat of a growth process for me as an artist, but I’m looking forward to finishing it and getting it out there for people to hear it.”
Volz plans to tour in support of the album later this year, but in the meantime, he has lined up a handful of shows with his former band, FLAW, with whom he’ll be hitting the Midwest in March.

Never a band to stray away from controversy, it has been revealed that DEICIDE will be appearing on the three-day “Reclaiming the Throne” tour, hitting Floridian cities with CHORONZON and many other Floridian based death metal bands. Organizers of the tour, Possessed Productions, hope to “bring Death Metal in Florida back to its’ status in the early 90’s,” fittingly requesting DEICIDE to front the tour, one of the founding fathers of death metal and Florida natives. The tour will kick off April 6 and end on April 8, aptly bringing a sprinkle of devilish metal on one of the most sacred Catholic holidays.
