Interview
Pyschostick's Vengeance Finally Gets Revenge
Psychostick is back, and thanks to the crowd funding efforts of fans, the musical institution will again address truly important topics, like the intoxicating allure of beards, voting for President Rhino (who will answer the tough questions and get a real political dialog going in this country), the love dogs have for socks, and the all-encompassing power of Bruce Campbell.
All of these issues and more will be addressed on "IV: Revenge of The Vengeance," due out on November 4th, 2014. Before the album's release, the band needed to connect directly with the fans to thank them for their support and deny any vicious rumors that an upcoming song will be about "Sharknado."
See what the comedy metal troupe had to say below, including a scandalous and patently false claim that the universe imploding into a singularity would be a bad thing. More...

Exodus Posts New Music Video
The Bay Area thrash titans from Exodus are celebrating the "Blood In, Blood Out" album's Top 40 Billboard debut with the release of a brand new music video for the title track. Check it out below, and you can read our review of the new album right here.
The video clip was directed by Shan Dan Horan of the Shadow Born Group (Buckcherry, Carnifex, Winds of Plague) and can be seen below, thanks to Revolvermag.com.
"Blood In, Blood Out was exactly the kind of video we wanted and needed to make… unbridled energy, violence, blood and our Bay Area friends and family at the center of attention! Just as they should be,” states Exodusguitarist Gary Holt. “I hate making videos and this one was so much fun, I actually caught myself saying things I never would say before! ‘Let's run through it again!’”
Exodus vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza adds, “Typical and sheer violence, straight up aggressive and in your fucking face! Watching this video kind of reminds me of Fight Club, but awesome action and awesome violence, perfect for the title track of the new Exodus album Blood In, Blood Out!”
“Directing this music video has been a pleasure. Having the task to find hundreds of metal heads to fill up a dark room with very limited time seemed like a tough task,” begins director Shan Dan Horan. “What I found however, was an overwhelming response from some of the most positive and energetic fans I've ever met. I feel honored to have played a small role in that. Old metalheads, young ones, to even a guy that showed up in his wheelchair. The fact of the matter is everyone was accepted and everyone picked up their brethren when they would fall in the pit. To me that's what ‘Blood In, Blood Out’ is about. While we all come from different backgrounds - once a metal head, always a metal head. That's something that stays in your blood.” More...

“This is a very special moment in the career of TesseracT, we have in essence gone full circle with the return of Daniel Tompkins as our vocalist. There is an enthusiasm and energy amongst the band that we wished to capture for CD and DVD.
"So, we have been recording as many shows as possible on this tour in the hopes of producing a very best of live CD. Engraved Disillusion Streaming Full Album
This week South West U.K. metal band Engraved Disillusion releases "The Eternal Rest," which follows 2011 album "Embers Of Existence" and is due out on Halloween.

Recorded at Thin Ice Studios with Karl Groom (Dragonforce, Threshold) during the summer of 2014, the album features 10 tracks of epic, diverse, and unrelenting metal. The addition of new vocalist Matthew William Mead and bassist Aaron Preston has allowed the band to diversify and bring new elements to thed sound, namely the inclusion of clean vocals.
Guitarist Toby Stewart comments, “When we started writing the album we made sure to write exactly what we wanted to do even if it took us in some different directions to our other releases. We felt a bit tired of bands having to make the music people expect them to when they’re capable of a lot more. The initial word that we had in our heads when writing album was ‘epic.’ We wanted a huge melodic sound. We feel the songwriting has gone up another level and we’ve achieved exactly what we wanted to on this album.” More...
