Dünser was born June 27, 1977 and joined ELIS, then still known as ERBEN DER SCHOPFUNG, in 2001. ELIS recently completed work on the follow-up to 2004's "Dark Clouds in a Perfect Sky" at Mastersound Studios in Stuttgart with producer Alexander Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES). Nora continues to write material for new album. According to the band, "We're hard at work doing the weeding-out process for the stuff we've written, so...there's a lot of arguing. Vicious Disorder To Have Song On "Halloween"
Springfield, Massachusetts based unsigned metal band Vicious Disorder are to have song included in the DVD documentary “Halloween: 25 Years of Terror” scheduled for worldwide release by Anchor Bay Entertainment on July 25, 2006.
Three years ago Vicious Disorder wrote a song incorporating the eerie classic theme music from the Halloween movies (written by John Carpenter in 1978). The song is called “Pure Evil” They recorded “Pure Evil” with producer John Ellis at Prism Sound in Acton, MA.
The song was then submitted to the Executive Producers at Trancas Films by business advisor Sullivan Bigg / Bigg Time Entertainment on behalf of Vicious Disorder. The song was accepted and after some negotiations a deal was made. Along with the song being used in the documentary, the band will have its own link in the special features section of the DVD menu with a photographic slide show of the band while the song plays. The DVD documentary goes on sale on worldwide July 25, 2006.
The idea of taking a piece of recognizable theme music (not a song, but theme music) and turning it into a song is something that has not been done before. Bigg stated that Trancas Films, Executive Producer Malek Akkad was “blown away” by the song. (Malek Akkad is the son legendary film producer of Moustapha Akkad who produced all 8 of the Halloween movies as well as many others. Moustapha and his daughter Rima were tragically killed in the Jordanian hotel bombings on November 9, 2005).
The song is also being considered for use in the highly anticipated next chapter of the Halloween franchise… Halloween 9. Tentatively slated for release in October of 2007, recently it was announced that heavy metal singer/song writer turned horror movie director Rob Zombie has been signed on as writer and director.
Vicious Disorder is a three man all original hard rock/metal band based in Springfield, Massachusetts. They have spent a number of years banging away at the local scene playing upwards of 60-70 shows a year. They are hopeful that this opportunity will gain them recognition and take their musical careers to the next level. Vicious Disorder is:
Scott LaFlamme – Lead Guitar & Lead Vocals
Chris Pauze – Bass Guitar & Vocals
Rob LaFlamme – Drums & Voicals
