Soilwork Continues Guitarist Search
Sweden's Soilwork has resumed their search for a new guitarist, holding auditions in recent weeks. The band has announced that they're looking for a Swede:
"We wanted a Swedish guitarist who lives close by... This has nothing to do with that we look down on guitarists or musicians outside Sweden (I bet there's a lot of guitarplayers that could manage the Soilwork stuff!). As we said, we're looking for a Swede, wanna be a rehearsing band again, hope you understand!"

New Age Records Signs Fight Everyone
New Age Records has officially signed California hardcore band Fight Everyone. According to New Age owner Mike Hartsfield, "Fight Everyone is the perfect fit for where we are and where we are headed." The band, described as falling "somewhere between Earth Crisis, Buried Alive, and Merauder," is currently in the studio finishing up their debut EP. You can check out some of their material here.
It Dies Today Cancels Warped Tour Appearances
It Dies Today will no longer perform on the Smartpunk Stage of the Warped Tour due to a vocal injury sustained by lead singer, Nicholas Brooks. The band has been scheduled to appear on the tour from today, June 30th through July 15th. Scary Kids Scaring Kids will now replace It Dies Today on the aforementioned dates.
