UK metal heavyweights Viscera have announced a UK headline tour. Support comes from extreme metal horde Osiah.

Featuring former members of Heart of a Coward, Abhorrent Decimation, Martyr Defiled, Nervecell and Surfaces, Viscera formed in 2019.

Inspired by the seminal 90s & 00s bands - notably Pantera, Meshuggah, At The Gates, The Black Dahlia Murder and Killswitch Engage, Viscera combine these influences with modern tech death and deathcore flavours. Combined with a potent blend of watertight syncopation, Viscera are undoubtedly a powerful emerging force to be reckoned with.

Deathwhite Reveals New Album Details

Enigmatic dark metal outfit, Deathwhite, will release their third studio album, "Grey Everlasting," on June 10 via Season Of Mist. The band is now sharing the devastating first single, "Earthtomb", along with a music video. The heart-wrenching clip, which was created by Guilherme Henriques, can be found below.

Says the band: "It is our abundant pleasure to share the video for ‘Earthtomb’, the first single from Grey Everlasting. The immaculate Guilherme Henriques shot the clip in Aceredo, Spain and Porto, Portugal. Unfortunately, the song and video are a rather timely and direct reflection of the times we live when unchecked power, deception, gas-lighting and flat-out lies are used as tools to wreak havoc upon humanity and sow discord.

"'Earthtomb' was written as our observation - and inherent wish - that these individuals succumb to their misdeeds. What is happening in Ukraine at the moment has, for the members of Deathwhite, made this song more prescient than ever. Our hearts go out to those impacted by this utter tragedy."

Written just as the global lockdown began in March 2020, "Grey Everlasting" is an album of diversity and depth. While the band’s clean vocal delivery set to the backdrop of unyielding dark metal remains ever-present, some new wrinkles are added to Deathwhite’s sound. Extreme metal elements - a reference to the band’s musical background - as well as heavy keyboard orchestration have been brought to the fore. The album also treads more atmospheric paths while staying true to Deathwhite’s melodic underpinnings. More...

Konvent Releases "Harena" Lyric Video

March 11th will see Danish brutal death doom metal act, Konvent, strike back with their brand new album, "Call Down The Sun," via Napalm Records.

Today, following the previously released singles "Grains" and "Pipe Dreams," the Copenhagen four-piece release a lyric video for third single, "Harena".

Says the band: "With the help of Felix Havstad and his beautiful string instruments, we were able to create a track that stands out from what we normally do and we hope you love it as much as us! 'Harena' is an inner dialogue about self-doubt, even though you know you’re meant for something bigger. During this dialogue, you convince yourself it’s better to stay at status quo, because the feeling of unsatisfaction has become a well known safe space, though the outcome could be so much greater if you took a chance. A big thanks goes out to Alexander Kolby for the stunning visuals that fits the aesthetics of this song perfectly!" More...

The Big Deal To Release Debut Album In May

Frontiers Music Srl is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of "First Bite," the debut album by Serbian hard rock band The Big Deal. Out on 13th May, a second single from it entitled "Sensational" is available from today. It follows "Never Say Never" which was issued a month ago and the video for which can be seen below.

"First Bite" is an absolute tour de force showcasing the outstanding talents of the group’s individual members throughout eleven infectiously memorable songs.

The Big Deal feature two outstanding vocalists in Ana Nikolic and Nevena Brankovic (who is also a highly skilled keyboard/piano player) and offer a catchy, driving sound that will appeal to both hard rock and melodic rock fans.

The group came together when songwriters Nevena and Srdjan Brankovic began working with Ana. Pairing the two girls on vocals for some studio recordings produced outstanding results and morphed into further music that was presented to Frontiers and ultimately got them signed. Completing the line-up is drummer Marko Milojevic, with Alessandro Del Vecchio later added on bass. Srdjan and Marko are also members of the successful Serbian prog metal band Alogia. More...

Skull Fist Shares Second Trailer For New Album

Canadian heavy metal outfit Skull Fist has posted a second trailer online for their upcoming new album, "Paid In Full." You can check it out below. The album is scheduled to be released on April 22nd and was recorded at Vespa Studios, and mixed by Chris Snow and Eric Rats. Harry Hess mastered the album. Album art by Sharon .Ehman.

Since their leggy beginnings in 2006, dungeon keeper Zach Schottler and his ruthlessly shredding gang of reckless accomplices have released three archetypal heavy metal almanacs, eaten more dust than is good for their health, endured hardships (henceforth called shitty business partners) and propped up countless beers in countless bars in countless cities. Now, after 15 years on behalf of steel, Zach Schottler is really turning up the heat with the uniquely titled Paid In Full, a heavy metal wonder of the defiant middle-finger variety. With head held high, pockets empty and just enough gas in the tank to make it to the next show, Skull Fist have just officially won 2022. Paid In Full is heavy metal in all its glory and splendour: skillfully - unleashed - wide-legged. Written at home and recorded at Vespa Studios near Toronto, "Paid In Full" encompasses his sonic efforts of the past two years: tales of steel and legends from the underworld. More...

Lord Of The Lost Posts New Song Online

As a direct reaction to the war in Ukraine, Lord Of The Lost set a sign for peace and international understanding with new music. Shortly after the first attacks on Ukrainian targets became known, the band around Chris Harms set out to express their thoughts and feelings through a new song and to make a clear statement for peace. To release the song as soon as possible, the accompanying music video was shot by the band with selfie cams instead of their usual large-scale production.

Throughout the years, the German band has repeatedly taken steadfast positions on social issues and expressed their solidarity with disadvantaged groups of people. Lord Of The Lost will donate all profits for this song to refugees from this war!

Lord Of The Lost on the current conflict and "Not My Enemy": "What's happening in the world right now is not a war of people. It's a war of the authorities. Civilians of different backgrounds are dying and suffering because of this war - inside Ukraine and outside. No human being chooses before birth within which borders they will be born. No border, which is held, moved or broken by the bloodhounds of the autocrats of this world, is worth that sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers hate each other and that innocent children are born and raised into these paradigms and ideologies. This hatred does not begin in a conflict like this, fueled by censorship, information warfare, and fake news - this hatred begins in the minds of each of us, as well as in the comment columns of increasingly anti-social networks. Especially in days like these, as well as in the years to come, it is even more important to understand that the only thing that separates us is what we allow to happen, yet at the core, everything unites us.

"You’re not my enemy, you’re a part of me. You’re not my enemy, wherever you come from, whatever you look like and whatever you believe in. You’re not my enemy!

"This song was created as an immediate reaction from us, shortly after the attack on Ukraine. We produced and released it as soon as possible in the hopes that it would touch and make people think. If even one person is reached with it, it was already worth it.”

#notmyenemy

"I don’t believe in their borders or sides
Our bond will never be torn by their fights”

“You’re not my enemy for we can see
We are sharing the same sky
Yes our mother tongue may be different
But our yearnings unify” More...
