Aeon Sign With Metal Blade Records
Sweden's AEON has inked a multi-album deal with Metal Blade Records. "Metal Blade is the label that we always wanted to be a part of and we are really looking forward to work with them," the band writes on its web site. "We think that they can give us the support we need to evolve as a band and we could not be happier so far. We also want to thank Unique Leader for our time under their wings, they did a great job and we leave them with no hard feelings whatsoever."
In other news, AEON has announced the addition of bassist Max Carlberg to the group's ranks. "He has proven that he is a great bass player, an easy learner and most important of all, he is a good and decent guy," the band writes. "For those who attended at the Storsjöyran festival have already seen Max in action with us then as a session bass player.'
AEON's most recent album, "Bleeding the False", was released last September via Unique Leader.
