Psyopus Checks In From The Road
Psyopus has posted a message regarding their current trek:
"This is Chris from Psyopus here. I am sitting here taking a break before our show tonight. Our tour with The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza and Home Pharmacy has been going well and we have been so appreciative of everyone's support from city to city. The Psyopus set has been consisting of more material from our new album than our old material and the music has been very well received. That means a lot to us."

Crash Kelly To Support Alice Cooper Again
Electric Satisfaction, the new Gilby Clarke-produced release from Toronto’s CRASH KELLY, has secured the band not just a second string of dates with rock icons Alice Cooper, but a third! Joining the tour on Sept. 27, CRASH KELLY will share Alice Cooper’s stage through Oct. 10. The tour includes CRASH KELLY’s first performance in Cleveland since frontman Sean Kelly’s appearance at Guitar Player Magazine’s “Guitar Hero 2005” competition, in which he was a finalist.
In May of this year CRASH KELLY, who covered Alice Cooper’s “Cold Ethyl” on Electric Satisfaction, toured Canada with Alice Cooper, leading to two additional August dates with the legends, including a gig at the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Additionally the band was invited to play a hometown show at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre alongside hair metal superstars Poison and Cinderella. Commenting on performing with Alice Cooper, vocalist / guitarist Sean Kelly had this to say, “playing with Alice Cooper in an arena setting was the culmination of many teenage fantasies, and it really felt like the beginning of the next phase for CRASH KELLY.”
Their fiery follow up to 2005’s “tight, infectious” (Outburn) Penny Pills, “Electric Satisfaction,” says Spin Magazine, “is an electric guitar solo-laden ode to sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll.”

Pig Destroyer Add Fourth Member, New Album Update
NEW BANDMATE: Please welcome Blake Harrison to the band. Yup you read it right, PD is now a 4 piece, and Blake is going to be running samples and noise live and on recordings. He's currently also in Baltmore rockers Triac and Hatebeek. He's a member of Team Fingerblast and will be updating the site, handling the web store (because we apparently can't get it together on our own). He'll be PD's mouthpiece. He's also the dude behind the the myspace page (I don't know what the hell it is right now). Personal interests: cigarettes, fingerbanging, drinking...
We put the 7" single's series on hold until we complete the new full length this December. JR's already working on artwork wth John Baisley from Baroness.
Furthermore this site will likely idle down to archive mode until we start gearing up around the release of the new full length. But you're already used to no updates
Nightingale Reveal New Songtitles
Dag Swanö (a.k.a. Tom Nouga) of NIGHTINGALE — the Swedish progressive-metal band headed by Dag's brother Dan Swanö — has issued the following update on the recording process for the band's new album, "White Darkness":
"Dan [Swanö] has been working hard with the lead vocals. Five songs of ten ready to rock! Last weekend I put down acoustic guitars on it and next weekend it's time for backing vocals. It sounds damm good.
"For the first time I'm gonna be Dag Swanö on the record. Tom Nouga is dead, the music lives on."
About 75 percent of the material for the forthcoming CD was composed by Dag. The record will reportedly be very 1970s-inspired.
Songtitles set to appear on "White Darkness" include (in no particular order)
01. Fields of Life
02. One Way Ticket
03. Trial and Error
04. Reasons
05. Healing the Wounds of My Soul
06. Hideaway
07. Trust
08. White Darkness More...
