Vital Remains Comment On Upcoming Tour
VITAL REMAINS are gearing up to corrupt the Atlantic Seaboard. Heading out with Dismember, Grave, Demiricous and Withered the tour starts in Bedford, NH and ends in Montreal, Canada. Fueling the band’s inferno, the raging line-up will include mainman Tony Lazaro (guitar), Dave Suzuki (guitar), Anthony Geremia (vocals), Necrotorture’s Antonio Donadeo (drums), and Ron Green (bass).
“Just checking in with everyone right before Vital hits the road again,” mainman Lazaro commented yesterday, “Going out with Dismember and Grave is going to be killer! These are two great old school death metal bands that really helped define the Swedish Death Metal sound. A brutal assault; Death Metal the way it was meant to be, fast and heavy!!
“I know people have been wondering about the new record…well, it’s just about 100% written. More importantly, it looks like Mr. Benton is going to be doing vocals for us once again! We were able to work around Deicide’s crazy touring schedule, and we’ll be hitting the studio by the end of the year. We’ll keep you posted on all the info and if you haven’t already, go pick up Deicide’s Stench of Redemption…it’s an amazing record. Hope to see everyone in the underground come out and as always, thanks for the support! LET THE KILLING BEGIN!” -I-ony666
Re-released this spring was the band’s Horrors Of Hell compilation which contains the band’s early demo recordings.

Visceral Bleeding Post Video Online
VISCERAL BLEEDING's video for the song "Disgust the Vile" has been posted online on the Neurotic Records YouTube channel at this location.
"Disgust the Vile" is one of the two video clips that will end up on the forthcoming VISCERAL BLEEDING full-length album, titled "Absorbing the Disarray".
With regards to the musical direction of the upcoming CD, guitarist Peter Persson recently said, "We deliberately strived to make 'Transcend into Ferocity' [2004] a bit more 'unpolished' to make it feel more aggressive and more ferocious [than 2002's 'Remnants of Deprivation']. With the new album we have a different kind of vibe we want to express and therefore the sound will be accordingly. More...
Stream Evanescense's Entire New Album Online
EVANESCENCE's entire new album, "The Open Door", is available for streaming at AOL Music. Due on Oct. 3, the CD is the band's first release since the departure of Ben Moody, who helped singer Amy Lee compose all of the songs on their Grammy-winning, six-times-platinum debut album, "Fallen". But rather than killing the band, Amy says Ben's departure only made them stronger.
"I think we've grown tremendously as musicians," she says. "I mean, after performing so much live, and... I don't know, just getting older. I just think it's a much stronger album. I love 'Fallen', but I think this one's more intimate in some ways. And also just bigger, heavier and more of everything."
Into Eternity Session Guitarist Quits In Toronto
Guitarist Tim Roth of Canada's progressive metal band INTO ETERNITY, which is currently taking part in the North American installment of Gigantour 2006, has issued the following update:
"Being on the road with MEGADETH, this band has had multiple highs and spiraling lows as well. My best friend Dave Stephenson died, out of nowhere of cancer. Today is his funeral and I am away from home and won't be there for him one final last time. For this I am truly sorry! I feel terrible for this. Dave would have been out here with us selling our merch for us. Every night I am dedicating a song to his memory.
"The shows have been a dream come true for us. I cannot believe how nice the staff and the other bands have been to us. Having LAMB OF GOD give us props on stage to 7,000 people was a highlight for us. MEGADETH has been very good to us. It is great to hang everyday with the Drover brothers. I have total respect for every band on this package. Everybody works hard day in and day out. More...

I can't say exactly what these tours are quite yet, but they are going to be very big!
I am seeking a touring guitarist who fits the following criteria to take my place on a few select tours throughout the year. If it works out, you could be our permanent touring guitarist. More...

Marking the debuts of drummers Jeff Porter and Carl McGinley, ‘Time Will Fuse Its Worth’ will see an October 31 release date through Prosthetic Records (a day earlier in European territories).
“When we first started the band, we had planned on having two drummers but it didn't work out, so now it feels like everything is coming together,” Pleasants previously said. “There is definitely a new level of intensity to KYLESA now. Club Owners To Plead No Contest To Manslaughter
The Associated Press reports that the owners of Rhode Island nightclub, The Station, where a 2003 fire killed 100 people during a Great White concert will plead no contest to involuntary manslaughter charges, and only one will have to serve prison time, their lawyer said last week. Victims' relatives were outraged.
Kathleen Hagerty said brothers Jeffrey and Michael Derderian will enter the pleas more than 3 1/2 years after pyrotechnics ignited foam soundproofing while Great White was playing at the Station nightclub in West Warwick, R.I.
Hagerty confirmed that Michael Derderian will serve 4 years in a minimum security prison, with eligibility for a work release program, and that Jeffrey Derderian will receive a suspended 10-year sentence.
Relatives of those killed were furious about what they considered to be light punishments for the brothers' role in the fourth-deadliest fire in U.S. history, a tragedy that touched untold thousands of people in the nation's smallest state.
In May, former Great White tour manager Daniel Biechele was sentenced to four years in prison for igniting the pyrotechnics without the required permit. He pleaded guilty in February to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter.
