Single Bullet Theory Enter Studio
Philadelphia Based Single Bullet Theory entered Signal Sound Studies in Quarketown, Pa. July 26 to begin working on their first official full length record. The record is comprised of 11 total tracks, some of which were "road tested" during SBT's month long US trek with Soilwork, Hypocrisy, Killswitch Engage and Scar Culture . At the time a title is unavailable however an unofficial report listed Eddy Garcia (Pissing Razors) or Peter Tagtgren (Hypocrisy) as potential candidates to mix the album. The record will be shopped for a World-Wide licensing deal upon its completion (est.Sept 01, 2002). Interested parties can contact SBTmanagement@aol.com.
Stampin' Ground Find Drummer
Stampin’ Ground have found a replacement for the recently departed Ade Stokes. It’s former Benediction drummer Neil Hutton. The band now intend to steam ahead with recording a new album in September/October.
Sepultura Covers Public Enemy
Sepultura have added a cover of Public Enemy’s ‘Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos’ to the track listing for their upcoming covers EP, which is currently being recorded. Rapper Sabotage and DJ Ze Gonzales will guest on this. The rest of the record will include the following: ‘Messiah’ (Hellhammer), ‘Mountain Song’ (Jane’s Addiction), ‘Mongoloid’ (Devo), ‘Bullet The Blue Sky’ (U2) and ‘Angel’ (Massive Attack). Fans can expect at least one new song, ‘Corrupted’, to be featured.
