Papa Can't Jump
Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix was planning to jump off a bridge in new video ‘Time And Time Again’, but the scene was scrapped when the authorities refused to give him permission to dive from the Folsom Bridge in the band’s Sacramento home town, because there has been a suicide leap in the past. The band did try to find another bridge in the city, but couldn’t find one that could be shut to fit in with their filming schedule.
Album Update from The Gathering
Hans, The Gathering's Drummer, has posted the following update on the bands official site:
"I am a happy person to tell you all we are in a mixing phase of the new album. We're all relieved and satisfied as it turned out excellent.
Right now we've streamlined the album into a 10 track full length, a mere 50 minutes of music.
Those 10 tracks work with eachother, they are making all individual songs even stronger. The detailing and giving the songs the right balance/mix was sometimes a harsh and cruel proces.. Throwing away mixes of 3 days work, it's painful , spending so many times on details which in the end we didn't use at all. Kill your darlings. But it's the only way. Thanks to Zlaya who worked like a horse, staying alert, focussed and awake, always trying new ideas, and slavedriving the bandmembers till the bitter end."
A release is expected in January of 2003. More...
