Mental Demise Signs To Xtreem Music
Ukrainian brutal death metallers MENTAL DEMISE have inked a deal with XTREEM MUSIC for the release of their upcoming second album, "Final Step to Future Madness." This new effort features the services of new vocalist Andrey "Sadist" Burovenko, seeing the band showing a faster, more intense and technical style still in the ultra-brutal blasting death metal vein that characterized their previous recordings with influences from bands like CRYPTOPSY, KRONOS, early ABORTED, DEICIDE, and DECAPITATED spiced with some killer old styled Florida's death metal.
The new album was recorded at the famous Polish Hertz Studios (VADER, DECAPITATED, KRONOS, EMETH...), which guarantees a killer top-noch production. This album includes eleven new songs plus three old tunes featuring the new vocalist.
"Final Step to Future Madness" will see the light by the end of summer '08. In the meantime you can hear some advance songs at the band's official MySpace.
Order Of Ennead Reveals Tracklisting
ORDER OF ENNEAD, the recently-formed Floridian extreme metal band featuring DEICIDE drummer STEVE ASHEIM along with SCOTT PATRICK (bass), KEVIN QUIRION (vocals, guitar) and JOHN LI (guitar), have revealed song titles from their upcoming debut album. Vocalist and guitarist KEVIN QUIRION describes the meanings behind the songs:
"Seeking The Prophets"
There are no prophets, just men who claim to be. In this song, we are searching for "prophets" to have a discussion with and to poke holes in their claims of guidance from deities. Also mentioned is the suggestion that we should not wait for something horrific to happen to someone close to appreciate them. More...
Stonegard Signs To Indie Recordings
Indie Recordings has announced the signing of Norwegian metallers, Stonegard.
Stonegard has spent their first years in Scandinavia touring heavily and opening for mastodons like Black Sabbath, Korn, Slipknot, Motorhead and System Of A Down. When their debut, "Arrows," came out in 2005, it was by many described as "The best Norwegian metal debut of all times." "Arrows" became a success, selling more than 7,000 copies in Scandinavia alone.
Their second album, "From Dusk Till Doom," has so far reached 5,000 in Scandinavia and for the European release they have upgraded the album with a new mix, re-recorded guitars and bass and brought in none other than Ted Jensen (Slipknot/ Machine Head) for the mastering. Produced and recorded by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames/Meshuggah), mixed by Stamos Koliousis/Vangelis Labrakis (Mencea/Superpsychics) their new record features nine killer, unique and diverse songs. The album also includes a bonus CD containing previously unreleased material, such as demo-tapes, video-clips, and more.
Come November, Stonegard will embark on a monster-tour as special guests to Enslaved. The VERTEBRAE TOUR 08 will run through all of Europe.
In a press statement the band comments the signing and the upcoming album:
"It's great to finally get signed to Indie Recordings. We have been looking for a way to work together with this label for quite a while now. Their long experience in exporting Norwegian bands is no doubt what we need at this point in our career. Not to mention they are good friends of ours, and we couldn't be happier with the cooperation."

Chronical Diarrhoea Double-Release Announced
Germany's Chronical Diarrhoea was one of the bands that started the commotion in the late 80's in Europe, bringing ultra-fast and ultra-violent music with a specific punk and hardcore twist. "The Last Judgement" is unquestionably their finest work, delivering all the best elements of the crossover genre and simply destroying everything in its way! The album was a big step forward in the group's musical evolution. Fifteen slightly longer tracks presented a lot more variety than on the previous album, joining together thrash and punk riffs, cool intros, groovy drum patterns and even acoustic parts. While their debut album "Solomo Says…" might have been considered a joke, "The Last Judgement" proved that Chronical Diarrhoea can be pretty serious about their music.
Metal Mind Productions presents a double release of Chronical Diarrhoea's albums – "Solomo Says…" (1988) and The Last Judgement" (1990). New digipak edition is limited to 2000 numerated copies, digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc. The release date has been set for 28th July 2008 in Europe and 30th September 2008 in USA (via MVD).

"We are extremely happy to announce that we've just been signed by long running extreme metal label Century Media. It is amazing how all this hard work paid off, and we can guarantee you great things this year and beyond. It has been a dream for all of us since we first started listening to metal. We listened to bands like Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Iced Earth and Dream Evil when we were just around 13-14 years old. If someone would have told us that we are going to be signed to the same label back then I'm pretty sure none of us would have believed it.
"Another equally great thing is that we are about to enter Studio Fredman (!), the studio where almost any great band worth mentioning has recorded their albums, to record our follow up to "Infamy And The Breed". If any recording studio has been an unreachable dream for us so far – it has been this one! So everyone, expect great things!" More...
