Beast Feast Was Successful

Suicide Note Signed To Ferret

Ferret Music has officially announced the signing of Suicide Note, a great band from Indiana. The group recently released an EP on Hawthorne Street Records. The band is currently writing material for their debut full-length, which will be released in 2002. Also look for the band to appear on a One Day Savior Records split 7" with Knives In Green Water in January

Pessimist - Coming Soon

The 3rd full-length Pessimist CD entitled "Slaughtering the Faithful" is coming soon. Artwork is being completed by JonZig, and the CD is being mastered at Cyberella Studios. Due to delays the release has been pushed back slightly, but band promise it will be worth the wait. This is by far fastest, sickest and most extreme music in the history of the band. A crushing 37 Minutes, 9 Songs of Brutal Black/Death Metal, coming Fall/Winter 2001 on Lost Disciple Records.

Down Releases Title

The tentative title of the forthcoming sophomore effort from New Orleans’ DOWN, featuring PANTERA vocalist Philip Anselmo, PANTERA bassist Rex Brown, C.O.C. drummer Jimmy Bower, C.O.C. guitarist Pepper Keenan, and CROWBAR guitarist Kirk Windstein, is The Backwood Heavies. As previously reported, The Backwood Heavies will be recorded during November/December at former UGLY KID JOE guitarist Dave Fortman’s Balance Studios in New Orleans, where CROWBAR laid down their most recent effort, Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form.

20K Hits!

It was August 21 when we reached the milestone of 10,000 hits. It took about 6 months to reach that goal and now we've gone and doubled it in just over a month! Thanks to everyone who has visited and visits regularly, and for those who contribute by spreading the word and sending in news.
