Savatage The UK
Veteran Florida power metal heroes Savatage will be coming to the UK next year. Having originally planned to do a show at the Highbury Garage in London on October 31, the band have now elected to play at the same venue on
February 13.

Nile Will Headline
Critically acclaimed death metal powerhouse NILE will embark on a headlining tour of the UK, their second in less than a year, beginning December 1st in Sheffield. The tour will run for two weeks, with support provided by BEHEMOTH and AKERCOCKE. Immediately following the UK tour, NILE will take part in Metalysee's X-mass 2001 Festivals, touring Europe through December 22nd. Also appearing on the X-mas Festival bill will be CANNIBAL CORPSE, KREATOR, MARDUK, KRISIUN and DARK FUNERAL.

Opeth Do Two
Opeth are reportedly working on two CDs worth of material, and plan to do a double CD release if terms can be reached with their label, Music For Nations.
"I didn't know what I wanted. I had all these mellow parts that I really liked and some heavy shit that I also liked. My natural way would be to bring it all together, which I, in some parts, will but the major part of the heavy LP will be heavy and same with the mellow CD."
