Coal Chamber Find Salvation
Probably also in light of the terrotist attacks (but that's just speculation on my part), Coal Chamber have changed the title of their new album from 'Dark Days' to 'Salvation'. The record will be released at the end of February by Roadrunner.
The Sinister DVD
A Rob Zombie DVD is in the works and is tentatively planned to be released sometime next year through Geffen. The outing is expected to feature various footage, including all of his music videos. At present, Rob Zombie's new album "The Sinister Urge" is due out on November 13th.
Down With Pantera
Down, a group which features Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, along with members of Corrosion Of Conformity, Crowbar and Eyehategod, are currently slated to hit the studio next month to begin work on recording their long awaited sophomore outing.

SOAD Reach Platinum In USA
System Of A Down's latest outing "Toxicity" has now shipped platinum in the U.S.. At present, the band are tentatively eyeing the title track of the outing as the second single from it, though no official decision has been made as of yet.
Manson Gets Tainted Love
Marilyn Manson's cover of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" will be shipped to radio for adds on November 13th. The track is the first single from the soundtrack to the forthcoming new film, "Not Another Teen Movie".
A Swift Name Change
In light of the recent events in the world, Swift are planning to change the title of their upcoming new effort from "Waging War" to an as of yet undecided new name. A statement from the band on the matter is currently available on their newly redesigned official website, www.swift-band.com.
Hammerfall Reach Gold
The swedish power metal band HAMMERFALL have sold gold in Sweden. Wich means that the band have sold over 40000 copys of their latest album Renegade.

Guidance Of Sin Split
The Swedish band GUIDANCE OF SIN have decided to split up. We have some other projects going on,but the only one worth mention right now are Linus Nirbrants & Tob Sillmans project THE DEAD. They have released a split-CD with BIRDFLESH on Nocturnal music. They have also been in the studio again and have just recorded a MCD (6 new brutal songs). ARCH ENEMY bassist Sharlee D'Angelo updated BW&BK recently about the bonus material scheduled to be included on the North American release of Wages Of Sin, due to hit stores in January 2002 on Century Media.

Sweden's Soilwork and producers Devid Townsend and Fredrik Nordstrom are hard at work on the band's fourth full-length album, which currently is untitled.

Now Or Never For GodBelow
Syracuse metalcore outfit Godbelow have signed over to the increasingly visible Now Or Never Records roster.
Godbelow features ex-members of Blood Runs Black and have been together since 1998, according to the label.
Look for their as-yet-untitled second full-length on Now Or Never Records sometime in early 2002.

P.O.D. Shoot Video
P.O.D. will let the cameras roll Thursday in Los Angeles when they shoot their latest video, "Youth of the Nation." Later that evening, frontman Sonny Sandoval & crew will rock NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno. The Southtown warriors, meanwhile, are getting their own imprint, Soul Craft Records.
