MTV Gets Haunted
MTV USA will be using tracks from THE HAUNTED's latest album, THE HAUNTED Made Me Do It, on the 5th Annual MTV Sports and Music Festival, scheduled to air on MTV USA on November 18, at 5 PM Eastern Standard Time.

According to a posting on the official NEUROTICA web site, “the [Florida-based] band [featuring former ATHEIST guitarist/vocalist Kelly Shaefer] has just returned from New York city and Connecticut and a meeting with Vince, Linda and Stephanie McMahon as well as the other folks who run the WWF, about the launching of NEUROTICA and Smackdown Records.

Coal Chamber Change Name Again
COAL CHAMBER have once again opted to change the title of their forthcoming third release, this time to Dark Salvation. Tentatively due to be released in February through Roadrunner Records, Dark Salvation’s mixing sessions with producer Ross Hogarth were officially completed this past Saturday, October 27th at 6 AM.
Anthrax On The Road
ANTHRAX are rumored to be making an appearance on the Late Night With Jay Leno show this Wednesday, October 31st. In other news, check out this humorous article from Lincoln Journal Star about an ANTHRAX fan whose “ANTHRAX” license plates have gotten him a heap of negative reactions from irate motorists who have (wrongly) assumed that he was making light of a gravelly serious and life-threatening situation.

Rammstein have dropped off of the remaining dates of the Pledge Of Allegiance Tour, which features Slipknot, System Of A Down, No One and American Head Charge. No reason has been given.
Kittie Post A Video
Kittie have posted the video for their new single "What I Always Wanted" on their official website, www.kittie.net. The track comes from the groups forthcoming new album "Oracle", due out on November 13th through Artemis.
Agalloch To Enter Studio
Agalloch will enter the studio next month to record their long-awaited second album. The band hopes to be finished with the recording and mixing sometime in December.
