Dimension F3H Ready to Unveil Debut
Dimension F3H have recently finished the recordings for their debut album Reaping the World Winds. Mastermind Morfeus (Limbonic Art) is now working hard on the cover artwork. The band is also rehearsing to sharpen the edge further regarding live shows.
Satariel Prepare for European Tour
Satariel are preparing themselves for their upcoming European tour with Necrophobic and Impious, which kicks off in January 2003. Their next album, Hydra, will be recorded in March 2003 in Dug Out Studio. They will once again work with producer Daniel Bergstrand.
Twelfth Gate signs with Crash Music
Crash Music and Twelfth Gate have agreed to a deal. For the moment, the band is in the studio working on a new album. The preliminary release date is early 2003.
Obscene Eulogy Sign with Baphomet
Baphomet Records and Obscene Eulogy have inked a deal. The band is currently recording their debut album, while the label will re-release their demo, titled A Portal Into Fire in November.
FATA, Unearth, The Hope Conspiracy Tour

Love is Red Start Side Project
Two members of Love Is Red have started a new straight-edge hardcore band in Florence, Alabama. The group is called Traitor and features Roger Kilburn (guitar) and Adam Riser (drums) of Love Is Red, in addition to three other members. The band will begin touring in January, coinciding with the release of a new CD.
Retribute Signs Obscura
Sweden's Obscura have been signed by Retribute Records. Their music is described as a mix of Nile, Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal. No plans for an album have been released.
Aborted to Enter Studio in December
Belgian gory death metallers Aborted will now enter the studio in December to record their next full-length CD, entitled Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage Done, for a March 2003 release through Listenable Records.
As previously reported, Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage Done will be recorded at the Aabenraa studios in Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen and will be followed by a European tour with IMMOLATION.
In other news, Aborted will be playing in Tel Aviv, Israel on December 1.
Zyklon Finish Writing for New Album
Norway's Zyklon, featuring Zamoth (a.k.a. Samoth) and Trym of Emperor, have nearly completed work on the material for their next album, which will record early next year for a tentative summer 2003 release. The follow-up to last year's World Ov Worms CD will feature Secthdamon (Odium, Myrkskog) on bass/vocals, following the departure of Daemon (Limbonic Art), who left the band after their first-ever North American appearance at last year's Milwaukee Metalfest.
CoF Announce Shows, Still Looking for Guitarist
Cradle of Filth will be playing a total of three UK shows in December, including their previously announced December 13 gig at The Astoria in London.

Dec. 13 – London, UK @ K-FestM

Defenestration Line Up Gigs
British act Defenestration have lined up the following gigs during October/November:
Oct. 27 – Redditch, UK - The Venue
Oct. 31 - Milton Keynes, UK - Bar Central
Nov. 07 – Cardiff, UK - Vision 2k
These will be Detenestration's first gigs with new drummer Kieran Brain, who replaced Ben Gordelia earlier in the month.
Carnal Forge Members Form Side Project
Carnal Forge/Centinex guitarist Jonas Kjellgren, Carnal Forge drummer Stefan Westerberg, and ex-S.I.B./ Turabus bassist/vocalist Mikael Danielsson have joined forces in a new band called World Below.
Self-described as "slow, dark, atmospheric, psychedelic, mournful and utterly heavy," World Below is said to be "a progressive doom-metal trip influenced by everything from Pink Floyd via Black Sabbath to black metal," according to the band's official web site. A debut album is tentatively due to be released in early 2003 through an as-yet-undetermined label. Meanwhile, you can download some demo songs via the group's site.
Astriaal To Release New EP
Australia's Astriaal will shortly issue a seven-track mini-CD, titled Deception Revelation, containing a track from the group's forthcoming full-length album, two live tracks and other exclusive material.
Included on the CD will be a re-recorded [and re-mastered] version of "An Eclipse in Blood", entitled "Millennia of Bloodshed", which was originally featured on the Glories of the Nightsky demo. "This version is much faster, and definitively more harsh and ugly, however retaining the folkier feel of the demo recording," according to the band's official web site.
"The final three exclusive tracks make up 'Revelations', a three-part hymn encompassing over 13 minutes of music, featuring all of the elements that have been utilized throughout Astriaal's journey thus far: Misanthropy, Acoustics, Darkness and Violence. 'Revelations' won't be on any other Astriaal release, and we are definitely satisfied with how it has taken form." More...
