Bury Your Dead Replaces Two Members
Although Bury Your Dead has indeed replaced two members, they are not breaking up, as you may have heard. Both Rich (bass) and Jay (guitar) have left the band as Jay apparently doesn't want to play hardcore anymore, and Rich "didn't even own his own bass." Here is a statement on the matter from vocalist Joe:
"Rich and Jay are still like family to us. They have other things that took priority over the band. There's no hard feelings, or anything like that between anyone in Bury Your Dead. We support them Like Woah. See everyone at Tuffalo Fest."
BYD has already practiced with their replacements - Matt Lacasse of Year Of Our Lord, and Rich Gaccione of What Feeds The Fire. The band still intends to honor every scheduled show and will be entering the studio on October 14th to record a full-length for Alveran Records/Eulogy Recordings.
Devileech Change Studio Plans
Portuguese extreme metal act Devileech have changed their minds about recording their second album at Gothenburg, Sweden's Studio Fredman, because "the band needs a more powerful and distinct sound [than the one offered by said facility]," according to an official Maquiavel Music Entertainment newsletter. At this time, likely candidates for a recording studio for the forthcoming effort include Woodhouse Studios in Germany and Soundsuite Studios in France, but a final decision has not yet been made on the matter.
Devileech's upcoming CD — the band's first with new vocalist Ricardo Almeida and drummer Jorge Gonçalves — is tentatively titled Deviant and is likely to include the following cuts, among others: More...
Halford/Testament/Exodus do Vegas
Halford, Testament, Exodus, and Vio-lence will be teaming up for a special one-off concert at House Of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, December 29th. Tickets will be priced at $40 (advance purchase) and $50 (day of show), and will go on sale next week.

Dark Tranquillity/Arch Enemy Confirm Montreal Show
Arch Enemy and Dark Tranquillity have been confirmed to appear at Montreal's Foufounes Électriques on Monday, November 4th. The show will be part of the two bands' short tour of the northeastern part of the U.S. and Canada, which is scheduled to kick off at the end of this month. Additional dates will be announced soon.

Grave Post New Song Online
Legendary Swedish death metallers Grave have posted a full-length MP3 of the track "Rise", the opening cut from their forthcoming Back From The Grave CD, via their official web site at this location.
