Dark Angel Launch Website

The reunited Los Angeles thrashers Dark Angel have launched their official web site at www.thebiitch.com. A greeting from guitarist Eric Meyer on the site states: "I want to take a second and give a huge 'THANK YOU' to all of the 'Legions of Darkness' ut there. It was your relentless enthusiasm that has kept the Dark Angel memory alive and kicking... YOU brought us back together after 10 fucking years!!!!!! We're booking tour dates now, and I can't wait to see all of you crazy mutherfuckers again!!!"

Napalm Death Announce European Dates

Naplam Death have lined up European dates during November/December.

In other news, Napalm Death are tentatively scheduled to tour Japan immediately following their U.S. tour with Mile, with additional European dates to take place shortly thereafter. Several shows with Sepulture are apparently in the works as well.

Also on the Napalm front, the band's new CD, Order Of The Leech, will be released on vinyl and will contain two extra tracks as well as a different album cover. Plans also exist for the group to record a full-length sequel to their "covers" EP, Leaders Not Followers, due sometime next year. "We are currently discussing which songs to cover," says bassist Shane Embury. "The more obscure the better though."

The Ravenous to Play Autumn Equinox III

The Ravenous, featuring Danny Lilker, Killjoy, Chris Reifert, Danny Coralles, and Clint Bower, will be performing at the Autumn Equinox III festival at The Lions Den in New York City on October 19th. Joining them on the bill will be Nunslaughter, Womb, Goatsblood, Engorge, Lord Blasphemer, Algol, The Dying Light, Thalldom, Sathanas, Fog, and Anwyl.

Soulreaper Finish New Album

Soulreaper, featuring ex-Dissection members Johan Norman (guitar) and Tobias R. Kellgren (drums), have inked a deal with Hammerheart Records. The band's second full-length album, entitled Life Erazer, was recently recorded at Los Angered Recording Studio with producer Andy La Rocque and is expected to be released in late 2002/early 2003.
