Mork Gryning Confirm Larsson
Mork Gryning have announced that their live keyboards player, Johan Larsson, is now a full time member of the band.
How Like a Winter Joins Martyr Music
Italy's gothic doom metal band How Like A Winter signed a deal with Martyr Music Group. Their debut full length album ...Beyond My Grey Wake has been recorded at Rome's Temple of Noise Studios with Christian Ice producing and will probably be released the February 18th of 2003.

Converge Cancel Tour Due to Injury
Converge has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of their European tour. Guitarist Kurt Ballou broke his left hand in an accident prior to a date in Italy earlier this week. In the interim, Ballou has actually been painfully playing full sets utilizing just two fingers. The group will now return home to the United States so that Ballou can receive proper medical attention. The following shows have been cancelled:

Converge has also cancelled their performance at the Back To School Jam, which will be taking place later this month. The group will be heading to Japan this December though, playing a series of dates with Hatebreed, including an appearance at the BeastFeast Festival with Slayer and others
CoB Finish New Recordings
Finland's Children of Bodom have finished recording the follow-up to 2000's Follow The Reaper, due out on January 7th, 2003 through Spinefarm Records. The effort was tracked at Astia studio in Lappeenranta, Finland and will be mixed and mastered within two weeks.
Nemesis Records Material, looks for label
Upstate New York-based Nemesis, featuring former Earth Crisis members Karl Buechner (vocals), Ian "Bulldog" Edwards (bass), and Erick Edwards (guitar), are presently shopping a six-song CD containing the three tracks from the band's first demo and three newly-recorded compositions.
Although Nemesis have reportedly received an offer from Victory Records, they are currently exploring other options with a view towards recording their debut album at the end of the year for an early 2003 release. More...

Hecate Enthroned to Play London Show
British black metallers Hecate Enthroned will be playing The Underworld in London, UK on October 26th alongside Epitome, Immemorial, Hell Born and Benediction.
Macabre to Issue 7" single
Macabre will issue a new 7" single, titled Drill Bit Lobotomy, in early November via Hater Of God Records. Limited to 2,000 copies, the single will include the original recording of "Drill Bit Lobotomy" that did not make it on to the Dahmer CD and a couple instrumental versions of as-yet-unspecified Dahmer tracks
