DC4 Seeking Euro Deal

Armored Saint Guitarist JEFF DUNCAN's band DC4 is now free from its licensing obligations with Rising Sun Productions for Europe. Rising Sun no longer exists. DC4 is looking for a label interested in licensing the CD Volume 1 in Europe or a record deal. DC4 owns all copywrites to the record. DC4 also has a video near completion. Volume 1 was produced by Joey Vera and has received very strong reviews thru-out Europe. DC4 has been described as a cross between Nickleback, Three Doors Down and STP. Machine Head's Live Album Postponed

The as yet untitled Machine Head live album will now be released in 2003. This is partly because, while the record is still to feature tracks recorded last December at London’s Brixton Academy, there are to also to be songs culled from Machine Head’s recent European tour. The album’s being mixed by Colin Richardson.

Dez Denies Coal Chamber Split

Dez Fafara has firmly denied rumours that Coal Chamber have split up. These have been fuelled recently by the announcement that the frontman is working on a new musical project called Deathride. However, he insists this is being done with the understanding of the rest of the Chamber, and that it won’t interfere with any plans made by that band.

Southern Lord Sign The Ravenous

Southern Lord Records announced the signing of deathgore metal gods, The Ravenous. Featuring the all-star line up of Danny Lilker (Brutal Truth, SOD, Nuclear Assault, Holy Moses etc.), Killjoy (Necrophagia, Wurdulak, Eibon), Chris Reifert (Autopsy, Abcess), Danny Coralles (Autopsy, Abcess) and Clint Bower (Autopsy, Abcess), The Ravenous is the epitome of gore metal riddled with crustified sludge.

The Ravenous will enter a studio in Vancouver, Canada this November to record Blood Delirium. Blood Delirium will be released early 2003. THE RAVENOUS will also release a new MCD titled Three On A Meathook in October 2002 on Red Stream Records.
