Seeds of Desolation Sign to Retribute
Scotland's Seeds Of Desolation have signed to Retribute Records although they at first signed to Repulse and were later renegotating their contract with Xtreem Music. The guys at Repulse and Xtreem says that they didn't hear a word from the band considering their decision and said: "as someone said... Beware who's toes you step on, on the way up the success ladder as they are attached to the ass you have to kiss on the way down! Hope you guys won't ever need our help or support!!"
Anyway, late this month Seeds will enter German Spacelab Studio where they will record their debut Abattoir Of Carnal Rapture which should be out in November.
And their style... "imagine a head-on collision involving Deeds Of Flesh and Hate Eternal" says on Retribute Records
Mexico's Disgorge Still Pumping
Mexican Disgorge will release their third album Necroholocaust in November for Xtreem Music. Since there were some rumors about their split, guitarist Edgar wanted to state the following note:
"Two years have passed since our 2nd album Forensick was released and it seems like our apparent inactivity has ben enough to create some rumours, false all of them, about a possible disbanding of Disgorge!! Now we're here to deny all these kind of false information, probably created by certain people that only wants to hurt our band. Disgorge is still together, stronger than ever and with the same original line-up since 1993 and a new album ready to be released by Xtreem Music.
This new assault is entitled "Necroholocaust" and has been recorded this year at the Soundtec Studios in our hometown Queretaro (Mexico) whose production has been handled by Edgar (guitarist of the band) and Carlos Padilla (sound engineer). This new work is undboubtely different that our previous works, but always keeping the characteristic essence of Disgorge: Gore and unmatchable brutality!!
Thanx to everybody who keep supporting us and have always believed in our flag: GORE-DEATH-METAL!!"
Kreator Live Album Update
German thrash titans Kreator recently blew through Toronto on the fifth date of their North American tour with Destruction, following up "two great shows and two not so good ones" with a sermon to the Ontario faithful. Backstage pre-show, guitarist and vocalist Mille Petrozza gave BW&BK this update on their (not so) forthcoming live album and accompanying DVD.
"We were holding it back because we were recording a lot of shows in Europe, like 22 shows, and we wanted to wait. We were listening to all the material and we wanted to wait until Sao Paulo and Korea was done, because we were doing the recording for the DVD in Sao Paulo and Korea, so we wanted to see how that came out. So right now, the recordings are done, but we want to see whether the material is there. More...

GNR Picture Archive
From their inception in 1985 right to the present, Guns n' Roses have been one of the most popular and controversial groups in music. Wherever the band went, from the studio to the stage and everywhere in between, photographer Robert John was there with them. His photos serve as visual history of the band, documenting their entire sixteen-year career.
Now for the first time Robert is making photos from his archive available to collectors and the public. Through unlimited access to the band, both onstage and off, you will get to the opportunity to see the band in their most public and private moments, all beautifully captured by his camera.
Robert personally selected some of his favorite and most famous images of the group, as well as individual/combination photos of Slash, Duff, Izzy, Matt, Steven and Axl. All have been expertly produced as limited edition prints on gallery quality paper stock in vibrant color.
In addition, there are a limited number of prints signed by Slash, Duff and Robert.

Night In Gales Part with Drummer
German thrashers Night In Gales have officially parted ways with drummer Christian Bass, according to Blabbermouth.net.
"After seven years of Night In Gales, I felt something like stagnation coming up," explained Bass. "So, I thought about doing something new, something that makes me burn again. Surely, also some unnecessary personal and musical differences made this decision even easier, but weren't the main part of it. So, there is no reason to say that this split was needed to be done but is better in some ways. I really hope that the rest comes up again and finds a good drummer and record label again! All the best from here dudes!"
"For the people who think that I am out of business as I leave N.I.G.," continued Bass. "You are wrong! I already started a new band called Deadsoil with ex-members of Copykill and Drift. Look out for a release early/mid 2003. So, I am not dead because of leaving N.I.G. Got it?" More...
