Atrocity Begin Work on New Album
Atrocity have reportedly started working on their new studio album. The album will be recorded at the band's own studio, Mastersound Studio, in Germany. If everything goes according to plan, the album will see the light of day early 2003.
Kabbal Enter Studio
Kabbal have just entered the Udate Studios in Salernes, under the leadership of producer Serge Begnis, for 2 weeks. The album, planned for November 2002, will be titled Synthetically Revived. Mastering will be done between the 5 and 10 of October into the Damage Studios.
Stillborn Gets with The Program
California's The Program has signed with Stillborn Records. The band will be entering SoundWave Studios with producer Zack Ohren (The Ghost, Animosity) this October to record. Their Stillborn debut, an EP entitled Artificial Unintelligence, should hit streets in January of 2003. The Ravenous Sign with Southern Lord
Southern Lord Records have inked a deal with The Ravenous. The band, which features Danny Lilker (Brutal Truth, SOD, etc.), Killjoy (Necrophagia, Wurdulak), Chris Reifert (Autopsy, Abcess), Danny Coralles (Autopsy, Abcess) and Clint Bower (Autopsy, Abcess), will enter a studio in Vancouver, Canada in November to record their new album, Blood Delirium, due out in early 2003. “Through working with The Ravenous, I’m fucking stoked to expand the scope of Southern Lord and assault the masses with sick brutality,” quipped Greg Anderson, Southern Lord owner and label president. In related news, The Ravenous will also release a new MCD titled Three On A Meathook in October through Red Stream.
Napalm Death Set Tracklist/Release Date
Napalm Death will issue their latest studio album, Order of the Leech, on October 21st through Snapper Music in Europe. A US release through Spitfire Records is expected a short time later.
The album was produced by Simon Efemey and Russ Russell. The drums were recorded at Parkgate Studios whereas the rest of the music was recorded and mixed at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire.
A special limited edition version of the album on double (colored) vinyl will be made available, featuring two extra tracks — "Thaw" and "Terrorain", both originally recorded by the band Septic Death.

Halford/Dio confirmed for Soyorock 2002
Halford and Dio have been confirmed as the headliners of this year's Soyorock 2002 (a.k.a. World Rock) festival, which is set to take place in Seoul, Korea on October 12-13.
The rescheduled event — which was originally due to take place on August 15-18 —will also include appearances by Gamma Ray and Rage, among other acts.

Cathedral Set Japanese Release Date
Cathedral's new album, Seventh Coming, will be released in Japan via Toy's Factory Records on October 9th with an exclusive bonus track. A European release through Dream Catcher Records is expected a short time later.
Mannhai find Evil Under the Sun
Finnish "stoner rockers" Mannhai, featuring former Amorphis bassist Oppu Laine and ex-Xysma frontman Joanitor Muurinen, have completed work on the follow-up to last year's The Sons Of Yesterday's Black Grouse CD, entitled Evil Under the Sun, for a November release through Spinefarm Records.
Evil Under the Sun was recorded at Gothenburg, Sweden's Studio Mega and was mastered at Studiofabriken. The cover artwork for the CD will be done by Jukka Mikander.

Swarm Confirmed from Loud Festival
San Francisco Bay Area's Swarm, featuring Death Angel members Andy Galeon (drums), Rob Cavestany (guitar), and Mark Osegueda (vocals), will perform at The Loud Festival at State Theater in Modesto, California on Saturday, September 21st. Joining them on the bill will be Makesshift, Unknown Statue, Life WIth Dead Eyes, and Undezynd.
The International Noise Conspiracy UK Tour
Sweden's The (International) Noise Conspiracy, fronted by former Refused screamer Dennis Lyxzen, will embark on a UK tour during December. Confirmed dates are as follows:
