Message From Mustaine

Manson Live And Recording
Marilyn Manson will be filming his upcoming October 08th show in Los Angeles, CA at the Grand Olympic Auditorium for a forthcoming live DVD, which will likely see a release sometime early next year through nothing/Interscope.
Tattoo The Planet Re-Schedules
Rescheduled dates for the Tattoo The Planet Tour have been announced and are as follows:
- October 09th Dublin - The Point Theatre
- October 11th Glasgow - SECC
- October 13th London - Wembley Arena
- October 14th Birmingham - NEC
In light of Pantera's recent departure from the bill, Slayer will take over the headlining duties. Meanwhile, at present it is rumored that Biohazard may miss a few dates as a result of the recent events in America.
System Goes To #1
In light of a mistake made by Sound Scan, System Of A Down's recently released sophomore effort "Toxicity" has in fact landed the #1 slot on the Billboard charts, selling over 222,000 copies in its first week of sales.
Video Awards Cancelled
Both the CMJ Music Marathon and the 2001 Much Music Video Awards have been postponed in the wake of the recent events in America, for more info check out www.cmj.com and www.muchmusic.com respectively.
Revamped Pledge Of Allegiance Dates

Judas Priest Cancel Tour
In light of the recent terrorist attacks, Judas Priest have just announced that they are postponing their American tour until January. Planned to tour with Judas Priest were Anthrax and Iced Earth.
Anthrax have confirmed that they will still record a live album in Chicago on October 10, as previously announced. While they wait for this date to happen, the band will work on their next studio record.
Album Artwork Pulled in Light of WTC
It seems that a pair of recent album covers depicting disasters in New York will be redone or pulled.
...New York art rockers Dream Theater suffered from even worse timing with Tuesday’s release of Live Scenes From New York, a live three-CD set with a cover depicting New York on fire.
Drummer Mike Portnoy issued a statement that said, in part, "I can only say that it is a horrible coincidence that we obviously could have never foreseen." According to an internal memo issued by distributor WEA, the album’s distribution is being put on hold and its artwork revised.
