Ozzfest Arrest?
Recent rumors suggest that Papa Roach frontman Coby Dick was arrested after the bands set at the August 11th Holmdel, NJ stop of the Ozzfest tour, for trying to "incite a riot".

Crawling On My Skin
Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington was recently bitten by a poisonous spider at a hotel in Mansfield, MA on August 08th. The portion of his arm which was bitten has been swelling as of late and he will be taking a short break to receive treatment in the very near future. However, no dates are expected to be missed as a result of the injury. At present, the band are continuing to write material for their next effort while on tour and if all goes according to plan, their sophomore effort will land in stores in late 2002 through Warner Bros.

WASP New DVD
On April 22nd 2000, the undisputed masters of shock rock (WASP) performed a unique concert live from a sold out Key Club in Los Angeles. That night's concert was broadcast live over the Internet to a live audience of over 10,000 on the night with over 100,000 others clamoring to view it later. Voivod Release New Songs
Although they're officially taking a lengthy break, Canadian cult heroes Voivod have made two previously unreleased tracks available for download. The tracks are named 'Confrontation' and 'Day By Day'. Both are live versions featuring vocalist/bassist Eric Forest, who recently left the band in less than amicable circumstances. Headline News
Hatebreed Leaves Victory Records
Hatebreed have left Victory Records, and will release their new album 'Perseverance' on their own Stillborn label in December. However, the band hope that the album will be distributed by a major company.
It is rumored that the album will feature guest appearances from members of Slayer, Slipknot, Sepultura and Neurosis. Also, watch out for a Hatebreed DVD in the near future.
