PM5K Cancellations

Powerman 5000 have pushed back the release of their forthcoming new album "Anyone For Doomsday?", to early 2002. The group have also canceled the dates for their "Doomsday In The U.S.A." Tour, which was set to feature Machine Head, Saliva and more, and are now back in the studio, working on new material that is set to be included on the album when it does eventually see a release through Dreamworks. It seems the decision comes down as result of both the label and band not being happy with the original version of the record. In the meantime, the band have overhauled their official website www.powerman5000.com.

According to vocalist Mark Osegueda, a a full-blown reunion for the band is out of the question, with the singer intent on rejoining drummer Andy Galeon and guitarist Rob Cavestany in their most recent project SWARM once the above-mentioned gig has been completed.
