Pantera Cancels Tattoo The Planet

This is taken directly from Pantera.Com.

Statement from Pantera
12 September 2001

There are no words worthy to express the sorrow we feel for those who lost
loved ones in yesterday's terrible tragedy.

We have made the decision to cancel our participation in the upcoming
"Tattoo the Planet" tour of Europe that was scheduled to begin tomorrow,
Thursday, September 13.

We apologize to our international friends and fans that we planned on
jamming and partying with, but there is absolutely nothing in the world
worth compromising their safety or ours.

Terrors Aftermath

With the entire country still reeling from the terrorist attacks of Tuesday morning, the music industry has, understandably, been put on hold. Most concerts scheduled for Tuesday night were canceled, including appearances by Aerosmith, Anthrax, The Black Crowes, Godsmack and Tool, although the latter has tentatively rescheduled its show in Grand Rapids, Michigan for Thursday, September 13. Those holding tickets for canceled shows should contact the venues or vendors regarding refunds or rescheduling.

Site Update

Well, I finally got rid of that "beta" on the logo. it's obvious that we are not uploading new pictures of the week, however. I am working on a redesign that will allow for more information on each page and is more scalable to future functionality. The look and feel will remain about the same though.
