Terrorism Rant

No doubt everyone has heard of the terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Buildings. Work [practically] sent us home because of it - I work in DC a few blocks from the White House. It's a pretty stunning and numbing experience. What I have even more trouble accepting is that there are people in countries such as Palestine cheering in the streets over the innocent lives lost. Maybe not exactly in that sense, but in effect, that's what they are doing... It's senseless violence, and the US is not exempt from falling into those same patterns. Whoever was slick enough to get away with these acts of terrorism isn't smart enough to see what he's brought upon himself and the innocent people around him. It makes me sick.

Our thoughts go out to the victims and their families and friends during these trying times.
