Perfect Little Monsters
Life Of Agony frontman Keith Caputo is to issue a new solo album called ‘Perfect Little Monsters’ very soon. Currently there’s no official release date, and initially this eight-tracker will only be available on the internet. Caputo will again team up with this LOA bandmates for a reunion tour early in 2003.
Manson Does Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Marilyn Manson is to compose the music for a remake of the classic 1974 horror movie ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. The film is currently in production.

Serjical Strike
System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has confirmed that he will release the Serart project on his own Serjical Strike label next March. This is a collaboration between the SOAD star and Armenain multi instrumentalist Arto Tuncboyaciyan. Serjical Strike will be distributed via Columbia, and Tankian aims to release five albums a year from various artists on the label.
Zombie's Scum of the Earth
Guitarist Riggs and drummer John Tempesta, who have worked closely with Rob Zombie, have formed a new band called Scum Of The Earth. The band are currently looking for a record deal.
Coffin Text Begin Song Writing
Coffin Text have completed the songwriting process for their new studio album and they are waiting for Diabolic vocalist Robert Cardenas to come back from his European tour with Diabolic to start recording it. The title of the album is Tomb Of Infinite Ritual.
Fog Well Under Way
Fog's new album is well under way, and the band is currently in the studio. The title is Disturbing The Balance Of The Spheres and according to the band it is "stronger, darker and more aggressive." The release date is scheduled for sometime early in 2003.
Aborym Working on New Album
Aborym are working on their new studio album, without the services of drummer Hellhammer, as was previously reported. The title of the album is With No Human Intervention and will see the light of day during the forthcoming winter.
Septic Flesh's Sumerian Daemons

Deadly Kristin To Host Italian Video Show
Italian extreme metal vocalist Deadly Kristin (Ancient, Dreamlike Horror, Frozen Soul) will be hosting Morning Glory, a heavy metal video-clip program on Rock TV, (Digital Tele + channel 53), every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (GMT +1.00 h), via Channel 71 digital TV, Tele +. On Thursday, Oct. 17th, Deadly Kristin will be interviewing the cult Italian band Death SS at the Rock TV night at Rolling Stone Club in Milan, Italy. The band will also perform live.
Lacuna Coil's London Gig Upgraded
Due to exceptional ticket demand, Italy's Lacuna Coil have had their forthcoming UK show moved from the Mean Fiddler to the London Astoria. The band are currently enjoying rave reviews for their new album Comalies and are looking forward to returning to the UK for a one-off show at the London Astoria on October 31st, supported by Finnish labelmates Sentenced. Frontwoman Cristina says that the band are "totally excited" about airing their new material and adds that UK audiences are "one of the best we've met so far."
In other news, the European limited-edition black box set of Lacuna Coil's Comalies contains the European digipak (featuring "Lost Lullaby", an unreleased song recorded during 2001's Unleashed Memories sessions), a special pin, and a foldout poster.
Judas Priest Live Album to land in Jan.
Judas Priest's forthcoming double live album, Live In London, is scheduled for release on January 13th, 2003 through Germany's SPV/Steamhammer Records. The album, which was recorded during the group's appearance at the London Brixton Academy on December 19th, 2001, will reportedly include tracks not found on the DVD release of the same name.
In Flames To Play Korea
Sweden's In Flames have confirmed their first-ever appearance in Korea during December. They will perform at the 3,000-capacity 88 Gym in Seoul on December 14th.
The Korean version of In Flames' most recent release, Reroute To Remain, features a live version of "Colony" as a bonus track.

Voivod Drop Off Nile Tour
Voivod will NOT be touring North America during January/February as part of a five-band package also featuring Nile, Napalm Death, Strapping Young Lad and The Berzerker. Instead, the quartet are planning on embarking on a headlining tour of the U.S. and Europe shortly following the release of the group's next studio album, The Multiverse, tentatively due in early March through Chophouse Records. The Montreal-based band's non-participation in the Nile tour "was confirmed yesterday," a Chophouse spokesperson told Blabbermouth.net on Thursday. "They will not be doing the tour. They want to focus on the record. 100% official word."
