Shadowlord Add Keyboardist and Vocalist
The Dutch metal band SHADOWLORD has a new line up which includes DAPHNE ALBERDA as the new keyboard player and MARIT PIETERSEN as a second singer. The new cd “SCOURGE OF HEAVEN” shall be released 11-29-2002. For more info and samples from the Scourge of Heaven visit the band's website.
Wishing For Another DVD
Finland’s Nightwish are currently working on a DVD. This is expected to be released by Spinefarm in June, and should feature promo videos, live footage, plus at 60 minutes of behind the scenes material.
Red Tape Sign With Roadrunner
Sacramento's Red Tape have just signed to Roadrunner. The band recently worked on a demo produced by Orgy’s Amir Derakh. They expected to record their debut album shortly.
A Perfect Circle Target Summer 2003
A Perfect Circle, featuring Tool’s Maynard James Keenan, are now expected to have their second album in the shops by next summer. Work has been underway on the project for some while, with Keenan himself expected to record his vocals early in 2003.
Racer X Are Getting Heavier
Racer X have just finished recording a new album called ‘Getting Heavier’. This is to be released in Japan before Christmas, with the rest of the world getting a chance to hear it next year. The band features ex-Mr Big guitarist Paul Gilbert, Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis and one time Badlands drummer Jeff Martin on vocals.
Ministry Bassist Forms Pink Anvil
Pink Anvil is the name of the new side project formed by Ministry bassist Paul Barker. The band have signed to Ipecac and hope to have an album out early next year.
