Single Bullet Theory Release Frontman
Philadelphia based Single Bullet Theory have released vocalist Dave Brown from his duty's as the bands frontman. The split is due to what some would call "creative differences" and is less then amicable. The band however is near completion of the next CD "The Divine Ways of Chaos" (to be released internationally) with guitarist Matt Difabio handling all vocal duty's. The direction of the CD is more in the "In Flames meets Nevermore " style and is progressing very well. In other news, Matt has been rehearsing with a well known national band in Texas and his position in the band looks promising. Once its official, well let you know who it is.
Adema In The Studio
Adema might have just released the ‘Insomniac’s Dream’ EP – including two new songs (‘Immortal’ and ‘Shattered’), plus a cover of Alice In Chains’ ‘Nutshell’ – but they're already working on a new album. Right now the band cannot reveal who will produce this, but the band are working in a Los Angeles studio, and among the new songs ready for action are ‘Canuck’ and ‘Unstable’.
Skinlab Guitarist Injures Hand
Skinlab guitarist Steev Esquival is currently suffering from nerve damage to his right hand, suffered after the band’s recent performance in London with Soil. As a result, the band won’t be joining the $12 Riot Tour in America until mid-November, which also features Dope, Primer 55 and Society 1.
Wacken 2003 Confirmations Already
The festival is still nine months away, but already the first bands have been confirmed for Wacken 2003 in German. They are Stratovarius and Iced Earth. The event happens from July 31 to August 2.
