Annihilator Not Quite Signed
Annihilator mainman/guitarist Jeff Waters has rejected as "inaccurate" the announcement made by German record company AFM Records via their official web site that the group has already inked a worldwide deal with the label. "Technically, I have not signed anything with anyone, BUT our deal with SPV is up and it looks like AFM will be very much behind the band if it happens," Waters wrote on the group's official message board. "Still working on the contract stuff but I will let [the fans] know when it is official. Funny how things like this get released as if they are 'official'! I will say that AFM do NOT sign many bands and, when they do, you know you will get a real decent push, at least for your first CD with them. They sign many different styles of bands but only ones they really believe in."
