Kid Rock On Casino Chips
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has just issued gambling chips with Kid Rock’s face on them. This is part of an ongoing series of chips featuring rock stars. Apparently, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will get similar treatment early in the new year. If you remember, Ozzy had his face on the chip earlier this year.

The Apex Theory Lose Vocalist
The Apex Theory are currently auditioning potential vocalists, after Andy Khachaturian left the band for reasons that have so far not been explained.
Cirrhosis Records Alcoholic Death Noise
Brazillian death metal band Cirrhosis (since 1988) are recording a new album for Cogumelo Records (Sepultura, Ratos de Porao, Sarcofago etc), which is being produced by GG (Sarcofago). The album is named Alcoholic Death Noise with 9 songs as of now. Visit the band website at here.
Shadow Season Sign with Sound Riot
Norways' own Shadow Season have signed with Sound Riot Records. Shadow Season are already writing material for the full-length which will be released in 2003. A special guest on vocals for this album will be Steve Tucker (ex- Morbid Angel).
Coal Chamber To Do Live Album
Despite recent problems in the camp, it would seem that Coal Chamber are not about to give up. The band are planning to release a live album in the Spring, with three new studio songs added as a bonus, and there will be a DVD as well. The band – vocalist Dez Fafara, guitarist Meegs Rascon and bassist Nadja Puelen – will presumably start the search soon for a new drummer to replace the recently departed Mikey Cox.
Papa Roach Change Label Name
Papa Roach have been forced to change the name of their label, from New Noize to El Tonal because of legal complications over the original choice.
