Satyricon Doing Vocals

Norwegian black metallers Satyricon are back in their home country to record the vocal tracks of their upcoming, as-yet-untitled full-length.

Here is the rest:

Satyricon recorded the instrumental portion of the album at Puk Studios in Denmark in August, but since the band has been back in Norway avant-garde jazz singer Anja Garbarek and ex-Turbonegro Knut Schreiner have helped lay down vocal tracks on the album. Apparently, Satyricon are also awaiting ex-Morbid Angel vocalist David Vincent and Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo to send in their contributions.

No word from the Satyricon camp on how their new full-length will match up to Rebel Extravangza or when the album will see the light of day. We expect a mid to late 2002 release.
