Fimbul Winter (Ex-Amon Amarth) Premiere Debut Single "Mounds Of Stones"

Fimbul Winter’s debut single “Mounds Of Stones” made its online premiere today, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. The Swedish melodeath unit brings together a formidable lineup, including three former members of Amon Amarth. Their roster runs as follows:

Vocals: Clint Williams (Nemesium)
Guitars: Anders Biazzi (ex-Amon Amarth)
Guitars: Fredrik Andersson (ex-Amon Amarth)
Drums: Niko Kaukinen (ex-Amon Amarth)

Bassist Tobias Cristiansson (Necrophobic, Darkened, etc.) tracked the low-end for the band’s upcoming debut EP, “What Once Was”, which is scheduled for a November 14th release. According to a press release, the effort was “built on rediscovered riffs from the dawn of Amon Amarth, alongside brand-new compositions.”

The band themselves struck a bolder tone via their official Instagram, proclaiming:

“Three former members of Amon Amarth decided to go berzerk together and form a new, heavier band!”
