God Forbid Reveals New Album Title
New Jersey based metallers God Forbid has announced that they will be naming their new studio album, "Earthsblood." Guitarist Doc Coyle explains, “The title Earthsblood came to me after watching the film There Will Be Blood. What is the price of ambition? Is the blood of our bodies and the blood of the earth one and the same? With the current energy crisis, and its relation to many of the military conflicts worldwide, there has been a global, collective consciousness that has emerged in regards to the interdependence between humankind and the planet in which we inhabit. Coincidentally, the lyrics that Byron Davis and Dallas Coyle had written meshed with these revelations perfectly. This isn't a preachy, trendy, ‘hip to be green’ album, nor is it a concept album. It's just an abstract observation.”

But all these things are just a few if you compare'em with all the effort and hard work there are behind Dark Embrace." More...

Primordial Planning American Tour For May 2009
Primordial vocalist Alan Averill has checked in with the following update:
"Forgive me it's been a while since my last transmission. It's been a long summer and an extended autumn but finally after the Way of Darkness Festival we are finished the festival season completely and I have to say I couldn't be more glad to be done with airports for at least 6 months. Getting up at the crack of dawn, airport security, landing then driving for another few hours to more or less go straight from the back of a van to the stage and then back home again after a sleepless night in a cheap hotel has really lost its appeal for a few months. I know this is what you sign up for when you start out in a band so it would be churlish to complain but for the moment I'm completely burnt out with it all.
"Until 2009... More...

Sean and I are extremely proud of the new record and are looking forward to sharing it with CYNIC fans around the world, even if we have to wait just a bit longer.
