However, the label who released the compilation folded in 2012 not long after its release, which was limited to only 100 copies. Now, immortalized on vinyl, Eucharist shall have its rightful opportunity to infect more listeners worldwide and with ever more diseased tones than before. More...

Moonbound Signs With Power Prog, Details New LP
International progessive rock act Moonbound signed on with Pure Prog Records. The band will issue the third studio release "Uncomfortable News From the Moon" worldwide on September 18th. The first single and music video "Cheetah Conquers The Moon" can be viewed below.
Moonbound is the brainchild of vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Fabio Trentini (well known for fans and the trade press in Europe for his work with acts like Subway To Sally, H-Blockx, Guano Apes, Sasha, Le Orme, Milan Polak, All Ends ...). Offering up an eclectic blend of hooky, 80s-influenced progressive rock, Moonbound captured the attention of audiences with their 2009’s album "Confession And Release" and its 2011 follow-up, the critically-acclaimed "Peak Of Eternal Light". Both albums featured the notable contributions of prog rock luminaries Markus Reuter (Stick Men) and Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson, Mr. Mister).
For the new album, Trentini reunited with Reuter and Mastelotto, adding an all-star cast of
musicians including Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), Steve Farris and Steve George (both of Mr. Mister), Tim Pierce (session guitarist for Phil Collins, Roger Waters, and Carlos Santana), Milan Polak and many more.
Loaded with infectious hooks, spiced with catchy melodies and laced with dark progressive themes, "Uncomfortable News From The Moon" exhibits Moonbound at its absolute musical and lyrical peak. And once again Trentini proves his skills as an extremely capable singer with a distinctive and empathetic voice that puts the crown on this masterpiece. An album not only for fans of the genre, mass compatibility is more than guaranteed and could make "Uncomfortable News From The Moon" a trendsetter in terms of modern prog rock.
The track list for "Uncomfortable News From the Moon" is:
1. As Long As The Dream Is Real
2. Hero & Zero
3. Union
4. The Sacred Flame
5. Cheetah Conquers The Moon, Part One
6. The Real Loneliness
7. Get Along

W.A.S.P. Premieres New Track "Last Runaway"
W.A.S.P. premiered the new track "Last Runaway" - the first taste of the new album "Golgotha" - over at Ultimate Classic Rock at this location (also streaming in the player below). The album drops on October 9th via Steamhammer/SPV Records.
"Forty years ago I came to Hollywood as a teenager," says frontman Blackie Lawless. "Terrified and scared out of my mind, I had no idea what waited there for me. The song 'Last Runaway' is an intensely personal account of what happened to me, not only then but over the years and the success that followed after. Be it a kid looking for success in the music business or any life challenging endeavor that someone would 'Runaway' from in life, I’m certain that everyone can relate to this story one way or another. It’s another kid ‘chasing the dream’ and trying to survive it in the process. We’ve all been there."
Named after the hill where Jesus Christ was crucified, "Golgotha" (which means "place of the skull") continues their exploration of Biblical horror stories that W.A.S.P. employed on Babylon. "'There are times in any band’s career that somehow all things mesh together," says Lawless. "Their experiences, influences, and personal timing bring them into a common space. This has happened with this record. Four years in the making has provided direction, but even greater reflection."
The track listing for the album is:
1. Scream
2. Last Runaway
3. Shotgun
4. Miss You
5. Fallen Under
6. Slaves of the New World Order
7. Eyes of My Maker
8. Hero of the World
9. Golgotha

Interview
A Conversation With Endeavour
This day and age is perhaps the most difficult for a young band to "make it," but with a well received EP out for over a year and their reputation and skill earning them a slot at Britain's fastest growing metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air, Bristol based progressive metal band Endeavour appear to be well on their way to becoming one of the bigger names in the British metal scene. I sat down for a chat with the band last night to discuss their Bloodstock appearance, plans for the future and how the hell grunge and prog can be fused so well.
Diamond Oz: I guess the first thing to bring up would be your recent performance at Bloodstock. How were you able to secure a slot at one of Britain's most popular festival?
Iain Davies (Guitar/Vocals): We entered the Metal 2 The Masses competition in Bristol. We had previously tried this in 2013 but we didn't have much of a fan base in Bristol then. 2 years on we've managed to gain a few fans who supported us through the competition.
Chris Hawkins (Vocals): Thanks to our awesome fans, we found ourself in the final. Our buds in Mortishead got the New Blood stage slot but we were very kindly offered the slot at the Jagermeister stage.
Diamond Oz: So was that kind of a runner up prize?
Chris: I don't know if it was an official 'runner up' slot but judge Rob Bannister is obviously a cool dude because he put us forward for the slot.More...
