Gehtika Releases "A Monster In Mourning" Video
Gehtika's new album "A Monster In Mourning" is out now, and to commemorate the release the extreme metal quintet has unveiled a new video for the title track using footage shot in the studio. Vocalist Anthony Knight comments on releasing the album:
"The word 'finally' comes to mind! It seems so long ago that we were in the studio recording it so to be finally releasing it is pretty exciting for us. Obviously our Kickstarter backers have been listening to it for a couple of weeks, but now we get to unleash this beast on the masses!
"The reviews and feedback so far has been truly amazing; we've seriously been taken aback by the kind words we've had from fans, friends, peers, reviewers and even a few people who aren't really into metal, let alone black/death metal, who've said they really enjoyed it due to all the layers we've given each song and the atmosphere we've managed to create.
"We've had some great quotes from reviewers too... my personal favourite being from Dan Perks at Midlands Rocks who said, 'A Monster In Mourning feels like a shot of energy into a genre that, for me, was hanging out of its arse. It's All Red Posts "Integrate Forever" Video
Brazilian quintet It's All Red just released the first video clip taken from upcoming third album, "Lead By The Blind."
Check out "Integrate Forever" below, which was directed by Lucas Cunha, Diego “Peixe” and Debora Polto. "Lead By The Blind" is due out at the end of August and the title track is available for streaming at this location.

Home Of Gene Simmons Searched By Police
Several news outlets are reporting that the home of Gene Simmons was recently searched by a Crimes Against Children police task force, although unlike the recent news of former Subway icon Jared Fogle, it would appear Simmons is not actually the subject of the investigation.
CBSLocal reported the following info:
Authorities say the home of KISS co-founder Gene Simmons was searched Thursday afternoon by police but neither the rock icon nor his family are considered suspects. The Los Angeles Police Department said the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force searched the home and explained that the Simmons family was extremely cooperative.
The story goes on to clarify Simmons' role in the investigation by stating:
Simmons’ representative, however, released a statement that said that police visited the home to discuss a “crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Simmons was away on tour with KISS.”
“Neither Mr. Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation and they are cooperating fully with the investigation,” his representative said. The statement went on to say that police have requested that Simmons and his family do not discuss the investigation publicly so as to not compromise it.

Make Me A Donut Posts "Bright Side" Playthrough
Swiss metal group Make Me A Donut has posted online a playthrough video for a brand new track from the band’s forthcoming second album entitled “Bright Side,” due out on October 2 via Tenacity Music.
This video for the title track shows the band recording the new album at Conatus Studios (Promethee, Voice Of Ruin) in Switzerland and features Iwrestledabearonce’s singer Courtney LaPlante on guest vocals. “Bright Side” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Vladimir Cochet at Conatus Studios. Stellar Master Elite Unveils New Album
The mysterious sounds of Germany’s Stellar Master Elite has called forth another message from the void, which names itself "III: Eternalism - The Psychospherical Chapter."
Drawing from the bitter harshness of cosmic black metal and the leviathan immensity of doom metal, the quartet unveils a majestic hour-long ride into an exploration of eternalism.

Black Breath Streaming Album's Title Track
The crushing title track to the mighty third LP by Seattle's Black Breath, "Slaves Beyond Death," has just been issued and can be heard below.
Southern Lord will release the album September 25, 2015 three years following previous album "Sentenced To Life."
Black Breath will return to the road heavily in support of the new LP, beginning with a Southern Lord West Coast tour package also including Goatsnake, Battalion of Saints and Obliterations in September, which includes a hometown Seattle record release show for Slaves Beyond Death on September 26.
Stand by for a deluge of additional upcoming tour dates from the band through the remainder of the year and into next.

The Devil Wears Prada Posts New Video
The Devil Wears Prada has premiered the first video from new concept EP "Space," that is released today - August 21.
The track, "Planet A," tells the story of Elizabeth, an interstellar explorer who captains a starship through the galaxies, subsequently suffering a horrible malfunction that sets the stage for the rest of the EP. The "Space" track listing is:

Nightwish Releasing Limited Tour Edition Of Album
Right before the European leg of the "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" tour kicks off, Nightwish announces the release of a strictly limited (no re-prints!) special tour edition of the band's current record coming with a bonus DVD. It will be released on October 30 via Nuclear Blast.
The DVD contains all 21 making-of episodes which came along before, during and after the album’s release (we got tired of posting them and stopped somewhere around #15).
Besides those the DVD includes two new, unreleased live clips for "Yours Is An Empty Hope" and "Stargazers" as well as five special clips including documentary scenes for the songs "Planet Hell," "Last Of The Wilds," "Storytime," "Arabesque" and "Last Ride Of The Day."
On top of this there will be a huge photo gallery with more than 400 pictures, taken on the road and during the promotional period for "Endless Forms Most Beautiful."

Teloch Vovin Posts "Adoration/Vexation" Clip
As New York City-based occult black metal collective Teloch Vovin prepares to release the "Further Down The Tunnel" EP on 2015's Fall Equinox, the first public foretaste of the grisly recording has been made available early.
Check out "Adoration/Vexation" below. Teloch Vovin will independently issue "Further Down The Tunnel" digitally and on CD on the first day of Fall, September 23, 2015.

Hat Announces New Album
Guitarist Nevresch from Norwegian orthodox Satanic black metal outfit Hat has issued the following update about the band returning from a long period of inacitivy:
"It's time to break the silence from our four year hiatus. After finishing 'Vortex of Death' we needed some distance and stability.
"It's been both lugubrious and refreshing – not very peaceful but we have gained knowledge from it. To the point. We are working on our third full-length – vocals and finishing touches remains but all in all we are pretty much done. Stay tuned for more updates."

Butcher Babies Posts Full Album Performance Videos
Those Butcher Babies have returned with their most abrasive and aggressive offering yet: "Take It Like a Man." The Century Media Records album was recorded in the Hollywood Hills with producer Logan Mader (Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira) and is out everywhere today.
In place of a standard album stream, the band went and shot 11 music videos, back to back to back: one performance video for each track. Now instead of boring static images or just audio, they have added a visual competent that gives fans and new listeners a peek into the style, sounds and performance chops. Check it out below.
“We all come from different places and backgrounds, but every member of this band had to fight to be the person he or she is today,” affirms co-vocalist Carla Harvey. “That’s the whole basis for the record. The Algorithm Creates Soundtrack For New Game
Dub metal outfit The Algorithm - known for mixing electronica with heavy metal - provided the music for a new game titled "Super Mutant Alien Assault," which just hit Steam in early access form for $7.99.
A teaser trailer is available below, and the game's developer describes it as: "The Citizen Kane of Super Crate Box clones - dance with death through randomised rooms to clear your space freighter of irradiated aliens in a brutal arcade platformer shooter stuffed to the brim with unlockable weapons, explosives, special abilities and defense moves."

Baltimore alternative metal band Precious Child has released an official video for the single "I Fall," featuring America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 actress Nina Burns. Check it out below, and the band comments:
“This is one of the most intense things I’ve ever done. I had no idea that a video shoot would be so involved. When we were initially discussing it, I was pretty unsure about how well the video would turn out. Despite this being his first video project, Precious proved that he has a clear and strong vision and it was wonderful to see our initial storyboard come to life. When I first saw the video, I surprised myself and cried. I myself have dealt with my share of darkness and understood the message of the video quite well."

Guitarist Andy Bonney elaborates on the diversity of the track: “We come from all different backgrounds and are a series of different ages, so we take special care to incorporate as many elements of our differing tastes as possible.”
Speaking on the lyrics, Bonney adds, “'His and Hers' is based loosely/inspired by the murder of a high school friend of mine that happened last year.”
