Fulgora Streaming "Meridian"
A name representing the female personification of lightning in Greek mythology, Fulgora is a shadowy grindcore/death collective featuring members of Pig Destroyer, Misery Index, and Agoraphobic Nosebleed. This past July, the editors of MetalSucks handpicked five unsigned bands from an open application process to record with producer Will Putney at Converse Rubber Tracks in Brooklyn, New York. Fulgora ranked among the five, and some weeks later the band joined Philip H. Anselmo's Housecore Records for the release of the "Stratagem" full-length.
"It's an honor to be a part of the Housecore family," comments the band, "It's the perfect fit for us, as they are very artist-friendly, and music fans first and foremost. We look forward to working with Phil and the entire Housecore crew, and hope to see everyone on the road soon!"

Morbid Evils Reveals Album Details
Svart Records announced today the details of the upcoming debut Morbid Evils album. The label comments:
"Formed by Keijo Niinimaa (Rotten Sound), the sludgy Finnish four-piece Morbid Evils crawled out from the sewers in early 2014, and have already sparked off a buzz after a string of underground shows and the digital single 'In Hate,' released last August and which can be heard below.
"Bearing the title 'In Hate With The Burning World,' the debut album will be released on March 6th, 2015 on CD, LP, and digital formats.
"Morbid Evils started in early 2014 out of the members' shared love of downtuned riffs played at a slug's pace and their hatred of humanity in general, and at the brink of summer, they found themselves with an album's worth of original material. Recording sessions and post-production took place throughout the hot season in the darkness of the band's own rehearsal room. The album was created from start to finish with a strongly organic approach, and much of the instrumentation was recorded live."
Comments Keijo Niinimaa, "We have a desolate worldview, and our aim is to create soundscapes that suck the listener into fiery sewers in which there is no hope for a future." More...

"We had confirmed the tour with Black Label Society and finished the new album before Athon's accident and Athon, specifically, had been very excited about the opportunity to tour with BLS and we feel there's no way he'd want things to end on this note.
"Corey Barhorst, formerly of Kylesa and currently of Niche, will be stepping in for Athon for the time being. All of us go back over 10 years and Corey seemed the natural choice to carry on for Athon."
The band has set up a memorial fund for Athon, his girlfriend and his family. Donations can be made at AthonFund@gmail.com. Catch the band live on these dates: More...

The band is led by the multi-instrumentalist A.K. who has been active in the metal scene for over 15 years and played in bands such as Vorkreist, Merrimack, Neo Inferno 262, Malhkebre and Diapsiquir. The project is his "personal approach on dark music." He's accompanied by musicians of Merrimack, Anus Mundi, Temple of Baal, Eibon and Drowning fame.
A.K. commented: "With this album, I wanted to express something more twisted and violent than the first one, but in a personal way. I'm kind of sick of hearing all these bands that copy each others over and over... It's so pointless. It's obvious that more and more people are trying to follow a trend in order to exist somehow... With Decline Of The I, you can be sure that you deal with my own neurosis, my own way of expressing my guts... I know it doesn't 'speak' to everyone's ears. But I surely know that my art can really be intimate with ears that know how to listen. Eyes to see, ears to hear." More...
Visigoth Reveals New Album Details
When the gods called for metal traditional and true, Visigoth answered. The year was 2010, and Jake Rogers allied his bardic magic with Lee Campana's six-string sorcery to forge a tribute to the old sound of heavy metal. Thus the demo "Vengeance" was born.
Its completion sent tremors throughout the salted wastes of the Salt Lake City underground, attracting the attention of powerful musical forces. Jamison Palmer slung his mighty axe over one shoulder and trudged his way through the ice and snow of this inhospitable realm, lending his soul-rending riffcraft to the legion. He was soon joined by the mystical bass groove thaumaturgies of Matt Brotherton and the unrelenting storm-throned siege of Mikey Treseder's furious drumming. Together, they became known as Visigoth. Demoncy Re-Issuing "Joined In Darkness"
Forever Plagued Records is proud to reissue one of the most evil and uncompromising USBM albums ever written: Demoncy's "Joined in Darkness," set for international release on February 9th, 2015. The label issued this press release:
"Originally released in 1999, back when only the truest diehards kept the cult alive, Demoncy's Joined in Darkness portrayed a severe and diabolical vision of black metal, one possessed of ritualistic pulse, bulldozing tones, and whispers from beyond. It was the single-minded vision of band founder Ixithra, and in solitude and darkness did the man create a soundscape like no other.
"Fortunately, many bore witness to this creation and the album was soon hailed as a BM classic, its influence spreading into the next decade and inspiring a new, younger legion of occult devotees. Now pressed in a special digipak design with artwork by underground legend Chris Moyen, hear Demoncy's Joined in Darkness as it was always intended."
