Infernal Method Make Split Official
One of Australia's premiere metal acts, Infernal Method have today announced officially the band is no more. Pete has stated the following:
"It's pretty much been a long time coming, and probably doesn't come to much of a surprise to many, the members of Infernal Method have officially parted ways as of this week. Due to ongoing straining of relations between us regarding musical direction, general management and so forth, we decided to call it a day before things inevitably got worse. Undoubtedly all members will continue to pursue their own musical agendas with stronger than hate, syphilis, samsaras wounds and shackles. Talks will go underway over the next few weeks as to whether or not there will be an official release of the LONG overdue album, depending on whether or not we can get ourselves out of the massive debt we've incurred through playing/recording with this band. Lastly, there are limited numbers of Infernal Method Promo CDs (featuring tracks off the recorded album) and t shirts left that will be sold CHEAP to anyone who is interested. all parties wishing to purchase any remaining Infernal Method merch should contact us at -management@infernalmethod.com
cheers! Pete & Infernal Method!"

Rob Halford On Reaction To His Coming Out
Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford recently spoke to the East Bay Express about fans' acceptance of his homosexuality. "It's a myth that I received any flak from the metal community over my decision to come out," he insisted. "I have, in fact, received numerous positive responses from fans, as well as e-mails from people who were going through much the same thing. It's horrible to keep something like that secret, and I felt I had to make it public. I discovered that I was gay when I was about nine or ten. I did go out with girls for a while, but it didn't last."

Here is the track listing for the album:
01. Left Here
02. Simple Human
03. River Wide Ocean Deep
04. Another Perfect Day
05. Heal Me

Cattle Decapitation Album And Tour Update
Cattle Decapitation singer Travis Ryan has issued this band update:
"Cattle Decapitation's new album "Humanure" is released! Check it out, it's our best one yet. Don't bother with Best Buy or Musicland, though. They refuse to carry the CD because of the cover. It's also banned in Europe and now in these chain stores in our own country!!! You should have no problem finding it in your local independent music store, online and through other chain stores.
Well, the tour started off kind of odd. I broke my hand on the first day of tour just hours before the Chain Reaction show in Anaheim,CA. 4 carpals were annihilated and a possible fracture of the scaffoid bone, an extremely hard to heal bone. I now have an annoying cast on my right arm. We're still doing the tour!!! We're in Alberquerque, NM tonight playing with Cannibal Corpse and our friends in Black Dahlia and Severed Savior. We'll see you guys soon. Come out and check out the shows...you see them in the shows section at www.cattledecapitation.com."

Into Eternity's Drummer And Singer Leave Band
Drummer Jim Austin and singer Chris Krall were forced to leave Canadian metallers Into Eternity because of "financial reasons," according to this posting made by Jim Austin on the band's official website:
"Hello everyone,
This message is just to let everyone know that Chris and I are out of the band due to financial reasons. We simply have no money and need to work. Into Eternity needs to tour and we cannot afford to go right now. I have had an excellent 7 years with the band and wish them all the best and hope to see this band have huge success and the recognition it deserves. I would like to personally thank you all for the support you have given this band - it has been truly appreciated!
Jim"
With regards to the band's current status, guitarist Rob Doherty said, "This band is at the point where it needs to tour, period. We won't get into what we tried to do to make this happen for all but rather what we are doing. We are touring... The band will be just fine!! We haven't worked this hard to just quit. Things are going well, Chris and Jim will be missed by all of us, but the reality is we have to tour! To pass up a trip to Europe and tour so many cool countries with some great bands is something we can't afford not to do. Tim has taken over the vox like before, and it sounds killer!! This fuckin guy can sing!! We are working hard on the follow up to 'Buried In Oblivion' as we speak, and it's coming along really good. All our obligations and touring plans will be met head on with a full-steam metal assault!!!"
