Cirith Ungol Cancels Most European Tour Dates
American heavy metal veterans Cirith Ungol has announced that they have cancelled their tour with Night Demon over disagreements with promoters. A statement from the band reads as follows:
"Due to festival promoters not being able to follow through on their contracted financial agreements with the bands, we have no choice but to cancel this run. We are not mentioning which events specifically have put us in this position, but it’s more than one of them. We apologize to the fans who have been waiting to see us in Europe and to the promoters who did stick to their word. For those of you who want to see Cirith Ungol in Europe/UK this year, your two options are Frost and Fireland in Derry Northern Ireland June 18th and Wacken Open Air in Germany August 4th. Wacken is already sold out, but tickets for Frost and Fireland can be purchased at this location."

Sahg To Release New Album In October
Following previously released, first single "Heksedans," Sahg has dropped another, new song and the title track of their upcoming album, "Born Demon." The band’s sixth studio record will be out on 21st October through Drakkar Entertainment.
"We chose Born Demon as the title track, and to release it as a single, because it is one of the heaviest tracks on the record, and it tells something about the overall theme on the album”, Olav Iversen comments. "About how all human beings have their demons. Everyone has an evil side, dark powers which are hard to control, and which sometimes go out of control, and make us do bad things to ourselves and to others. Every one of us is born with a dark side, and everyone is Born Demon.”
He continues: "The lyrics are about the newborn child of a woman and a demon. The mother is in deep shame and deeply regrets her mistake with the evil seducer. She doesn’t want the child, and plans to leave the newborn deep in the forest to die. But the child uses its demonic powers to get back at her in the most gruesome way ..."
"The song originated from a riff that I wrote many, many years ago, in the early years of Sahg's existence”, Olav adds. "It has stuck with me through all this time, and I always loved the heavy, dark vibe of it, but I haven't been able to write a song from it, until now. That riff is now the main riff of Born Demon. The song materialized when I came up with the verse, and when we made the massive choir arrangements towards the end. We decided to go full-on Queen on that part, with the entire band singing along. And we have no regrets for doing it."
Tracklisting:
1. Fall Into The Fire
2. House Of Worship
3. Born Demon
4. Descendants Of The Devil
5. Black Cross On The Moon
6. Evil Immortal
7. Salvation Damnation

Seventh Storm Shares First Music Video
Right in time for Portugal's National Day, Seventh Storm enter new shores and will drag you right into their raging sea of gothic metal, melancholic hard rock and thunderous riffs. After recently announcing the release of their debut album "Maledictus" for August 12th, 2022, the quintet featuring ex-Moonspell drummer Mike Gaspar finally unveils their first single and otherworldly beautiful song "Saudade."
"I wanted a song that spoke to the people with a care and love for our land”, Gaspar says. “Our love for our parents. The memory of those we have lost and miss so much. This feeling that some friends or relatives are still here with us on our side guiding and giving us direction. One person I thought of a lot was Peter Steele. He was an amazing human being and a good friend. A gentle giant. I really felt like he was sometimes pushing me to do what I was meant for." Gaspar pauses and smiles sadly. "He was also a huge fan of Portuguese culture and our wine of course."

For all their Portuguese and Latin American fans, they even release a Portuguese version of the track that you can also enjoy below. More...
Milking The Goatmachine Debuts New Single
An old goat's proverb says that all good things come in eights. On their way to world domination, the Udder brothers settled in Germany 14 years ago. On their 8th album, which will be released on 24.06.22 via Reaper Entertainment, the brothers have put their experiences into music in the language of their 2nd home.
"Nach uns die Grindflut" tells 14 short stories in finest Goatgrind style. As usual, the brothers deliver a mixture of death metal, grind, crust and thrash. Provided with German lyrics and refined pig squeals.
Today the band presents their third digital single "Kackeball". The song is now available on all major streaming platforms. The official playthrough video can be seen below.
The band comments:
"Heyho Goatgrinders,
"To shorten the wait until June 24th a bit, Goatleeb and I have made a playthrough video of our song Kackeball for you. Powerwolf Releases "Glaubenskraft" Live Video
One of only three songs with German lyrics in Powerwolf's discography is "Glaubenskraft." Celebrating its “live” premiere via the cinematic streaming event "The Monumental Mass - A Cinematic Metal Event," the song proves to be a real highlight in the live set of the band, ready to be unleashed to the masses at one of Powerwolf's massive tours or festival headline shows this year. The incredible sound production highlights this live version and turns it into a standout hymn for each fan of the genre.
The song, well placed at the end of the second chapter of the cinematic streaming event, called "Sin," shoves a finger into the wound that the church has created for itself in recent years. The blank looking nuns in the video hovering while the band performs on an oversized burning cross speaks louder than any words.
All metal crowds will shout along to this banger of a song – whether they understand the German lyrics or not! More...
