Aborted Posts "Dementophobia" Music Video Online

Belgian Death Metal masters Aborted celebrate the release of their new bone-crushing album "ManiaCult" which is officially out now. For the track "Dementophobia" the band has made very special “Scooby-Doo” inspired video clip which has been directed by Claudia Cortés Espejo.

The band comments:
"Alright Maniacs! Today is the day we can finally unleash ‘ManiaCult’ upon you all in its full insanity. Lots of blood, sweat and, well, feces went into this record. We couldn’t be more proud of this piece of shit—a compliment in the Aborted world. Seriously, there are two number two songs here to make up for the lack of ass blast beaters on ‘TerrorVision.’ We hope you guys enjoy listening to it as much as we did crafting it. Writing remotely is nothing new for this international band, but to unleash Wayland Thurston’s insanity upon the world live, we have to kick COVID in the mouth. See you there!" More...

Hypocrisy Reveals New Album, "Worship" Details

With governments finally admitting that UFOs do in fact exist, and humanity attempting to heal from a state of the recent crisis, the timing couldn’t be more appropriate for the newest addition to the Hypocrisy catalogue - "Worship" will be released on November 26th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases a music video for the first single, "Chemical Whore." Watch the music video created by NASTROE Production and Agata Nigrovskaya below.

Peter Tägtgren comments, "We've been recording this album here and there for 2 years and now it's done! Maybe it was waiting for the right time as some songs are even more real now than a couple of years ago. Thank you all for your waiting. We're really excited to officially announce we're back!"

It has been 8 long years since their last record, and Hypocrisy fans can feel the itch. "Worship" is 11 tracks of precise, ferocious musicianship. Commonly inspired by the fusion of the modern and the ancient, Hypocrisy have once more found a way to combine innovative ideas with classic sound in order to deliver something metalheads can enjoyably consume with awe and brutal vigor. As usual, all recording and mixing took place at Tägtgren's Abyss Studio AB in Sweden while mastering was completed by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers Audio Mastering. Designed by artist Blake Armstrong (Kataklysm, In Flames, Carnifex), "Worship’s" artwork speaks to the history of the relationship between humanity and extra-terrestrials.

"Worship" tracklisting:

1. Worship
2. Chemical Whore
3. Greedy Bastards
4. Dead World
5. We're The Walking Dead
6. Brotherhood Of The Serpent
7. Children Of The Gray

Illyrian Premiere Song On Metalunderground

Founded in 2015 in Calgary, Canada, Illyrian was formed from the remnants of several bands and music projects in their local scene. Seeking to bring together their different backgrounds and strengths, the band quickly set to work on what would become their debut offering, 2016's "Round 2: Fight!"

2019 marked the release of Illyrian's sophomore record, "The Entity, Unknown." The album solidified the band's signature approach to the metal genre, blending elements of death and thrash metal with technical and melodic composition.

Adventuring out from their prototypical thrash metal roots while embracing the energy and drive from the genre, their sound further evolved into a more focused and precise vision, injecting elements of death metal and less conventional textures such as world percussion and traditional folk instruments into their music.

For their album, "The Entity, Unknown", Illyrian was awarded the 2020 YYC Music Award for “Metal Recording of the Year,” punctuating a comparatively quiet year for the unit. Soon after, the band set to work on writing and recording their next production – a concept EP. Intentionally narrowing the scope of it to fully explore and realize its story and musicality, it was written and refined in isolation from one another both due to circumstance and creative choice.
