Vocalist Jennifer Haben comments:
"With 'Call My Name' we wanted to create a song with whom you cannot help but bang your head real hard. It's organic, honest and in your face. Inspired by the story of Stephen King's The Dark Tower we've formed a symbiosis of its elements and our own to tell a whole new tale about yearning, persistence and these wounds of human life that feel as if they will never heal completely."

Milking The Goatmachine Posts New Lyric Video
Mankind has always been fascinated by extraterrestrial danger, just think of "War of the Worlds", "The Body Snatchers Are Coming" or "Alien". But the real danger comes from goats from the planet GoatEborg! The inventors of the Goatgrind return to remind humanity that it is in a permanent state of subjugation. The fact that Milking The Goatmachine musically shaves the fan razor-sharp with this “convulsing concept album about nonsense” is made clear by the symbolic title "Neue Platte" and the matching cover artwork ("Platte" referring to a vinyl record as well as to baldness in German).
The goats latest work "Neue Platte" will be released on 18 August 2023 via Reaper Entertainment. The band will play a release show as part of this year's Summer Breeze Open-Air.

KK's Priest Unleashes New Music Video
KK's Priest - the heavy metal amalgamation of iconic Judas Priest alum and GRAMMY Award winning/nominated musicians K.K. Downing (guitar) and Tim “Ripper” Owens (vocals), along with A.J. Mills (guitar), Tony Newton (bass) and Sean Elg (drums) - recently announced the upcoming release of their savage sophomore offering, "The Sinner Rides Again," out September 29, 2023 via Napalm Records. On the heels of their highly-lauded 2021 debut album, "Sermons Of The Sinner" - which debuted within the Top 20 on charts in the United States, the UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland and more - KK's Priest return to sin again!
Following up on the release of their blistering first single "One More Shot At Glory," today, KK’s Priest have unleashed another new track, this time entitled "Reap The Whirlwind," alongside another new music video! The electric opus is a classic heavy metal power thrust of soaring leads, hair-raising harmonics and earworm vocal hooks.
K.K. Downing says about "Reap The Whirlwind":
"'If you sow the wind, you will reap the whirlwind’ - this is a common phrase that has been familiar with me from a very young age. Obviously it’s very meaningful - it’s a warning that if you mistreat people, or really whatever you do in life, you need to be very careful, because whatever sufferance you inflict on anyone, it could come back to haunt you, and your suffering could be even more severe. Everyone knowingly or unknowingly has made the mistake of thinking they can get away with small misdemeanors to suit their selfish pursuits, but if justice is to be served, you will reap exactly what you sow. That is the message of this song." More...

Unearthing the Metal Underground: Waldgeflüster
Germany’s Waldgeflüster initially came to be as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Winterherz nearly 20 years ago. In time, Winterherz then drafted in his brother and eventually a full band that has been quite active and known, to say the least. While they surprisingly reached the 49th position on Germany’s album charts with their sixth album “Dahoam,” they remain virtually unknown to the global black metal community. With their upcoming mini-album
“Unter bronzenen Kronens,” set for release on 29 by AOP Records, that could change considering the album's impressive blend of melancholic black metal and melodic metal that's somewhat in the vein of Katatonia. More...
