Morbid Vomit Preaches A "Doctrine Of Violence"
Late last month we discovered the up and coming Finnish death metal outfit Morbid Vomit - a band originally created to have an absurd name and a lo-fi sound that quickly evolved into something much more ambitious.
After getting scooped up by Spinefarm Records founder Riku Pääkkönen's new label Ranka Kustannus, the band is now about to release debut full-length "Doctrine of Violence" (with music from the album and previous releases available below).
While we took a look at the band in our latest edition of Unearthing the Metal Underground, we also got in touch with vocalist Ryöti and guitarist Löndgren for a deeper look at what went into the band's creation and upcoming album "Doctrine of Violence." More...

Lead vocalist Richie Cavalera states, “The shredding and ferocity on this record will surely fire up all metal heads. It's by far darker and faster than anything we've released before. The man chosen to take this ride through hell and back with us is no other than producer Steve Evetts.”
For this upcoming album, Incite will be writing as a five-piece but recording as a four-piece. Guitarist Kevin “Dis,” who has written and performed on the first three Incite albums, will continue to write with the band, however lead guitarist Dru will be taking on all recording and touring duties. The Moth Gatherer Streaming "Pale Explosions"
Swedish atmospheric doom metal outfit The Moth Gatherer will release second full-length album "The Earth Is The Sky" on November 27 via Agonia Records.
In anticipation, the band has revealed a brand new track, "Pale Explosions", which is available for listening below. The track features guest vocal appearence by Thomas Jäger from Monolord.
Comments the band: "'The Earth Is The Sky' is an album where we tried to take everything as far as we could. There where points during the recording where we honestly spoke about giving up and calling it a day, it felt like we would crumble under the album. But we suffered through. The result is a desperation about how humanity drags it all to the end. Where 'A Bright Celestial Light' was an introvert journey into decay, 'The Earth Is The Sky' is a journey to the highest point on Earth where you sit down and contemplate about our existence while watching the flames from the burning world." Vanna Posts Metallica Cover
Vanna just released new covers EP, titled "Alt," today with Pure Noise Records. The band has partnered with MetalSucks.net to unveil the final track from the record, a cover of Metallica’s 1999 single “Fuel.” Check it out below.

I dare you to put this track on in a car and not get pulled over for speeding. This track not only opened so many doors for the band, it blew them right off the hinges. All hail the kings."

Varg Premieres New Music Video "Rotkäppchen 2015"
On the 2011 album "Wolfskult," the Bavarian wolf brigade known as Varg set right the rumors Brothers Grimm maliciously spread regarding Little Red Riding Hood. Contrary to the fairy tales, it was actually the wolf who was innocent, seduced by the petite wolf in sheep’s clothing, Little Red Riding Hood, and even pawned off the murder of her grandmother on him, like some poor sacrificial lamb. Its no wonder that in this explosive literary history and anthemic musical piece quickly became one of the band's crowd favorites, compelling the band to lift “Rotkäppchen” onto a podium and pay it the attention it has so long deserved.
The same could be said of the new EP, which should not be overlooked as only a segue to the upcoming full length album “Das Ende aller Lügen." "Rotkäppchen" is a gem on its own. It is a magical interlude, which has some treasures hidden between his precious DIN A5-pages: between the classic version from 2011 and an instrumental karaoke-version you’ll find a version both in English (feat Christopher Bows of Alestorm) and Norwegian (feat Trollfest), as well as a recent re-recording that, like on the original, features Anna Murphy of Eluveitie. The EP includes two brand-new songs “Ein Tag Wie Heute” (featuring Dom R. Crey of Equilibrium) and “Abendrot”, which won’t be found on “Das Ende aller Lügen”.
The EP drops on October 9th via Napalm Records. Metal Underground.com is proud to bring you the premiere of the new music video for "Rotkäppchen 2015" here: More...
Zgard Reveals New Album Details

1. Dismal Visions (intro)
2. Land of Legends
3. Descendants of the Thunder
4. Totem
5. Sorrow
6. Forgive Us Nature

Wizard Eye Streaming "Stoneburner"
"I don't think anyone ever sets out to write a nine-minute song, but this one just blossomed naturally into its final, lengthy form as we indulged our desire to explore some of the places the riff wanted to go," begins Wizard Eye vocalist/guitarist Erik Caplan of the band's latest single, the fittingly titled "Stoneburner."
The girthy tune comes by way of the Philadelphia-based psychedelic doom trio's impending new self-titled long player, set for release via Black Monk Records next week. Listen in below.
Caplan elaborates further, "The trippy outro section came as a way to tag the end of the song with a contrasting feeling. The rest of the tune is very structured and stompy, so the idea of a loose, free, psychedelic freak-out at the end felt like a release. This song's lyrical inspiration came from a documentary about the Ulfberht swords found in Europe and Norway. The idea that these weapons were feared on sight spurred thoughts about what it might be like to be the most bad ass sword known to man.
"While Freud would most likely have a field day analyzing the phallocentric, immature nature of this concept, I felt obliged to write those lyrics because I am essentially an overgrown teenager, and my band mates enable and encourage this sort of behavior. Consequently, this song gave me an excuse to say things like, 'More edge/Alive/Have arms/Will thrive/Keen slice/Unreal/Caress/Of Steel,' which was just too tempting to ignore." More...

Vulture Industries Premieres New Music Video
Hailing from Bergen, Norway schizophrenic metal outfit Vulture Industries premieres a brand new music video for the song "Blood On the Trail", taken from the album "The Tower".
Explains the band: "We have commissioned this video as a sort of final call from "The Tower" before moving on to new undertakings. The clip was made while building the set for ‘The Babylon Spiral Show’ as we had a day left with our artist Costin at the end of that time. Everything was shot inside the airtight live room of our studio, and I can reveal that hours of filming with stage lights and many people inside a confined space really turned out hot and nasty! We hope you enjoy this video and meanwhile we will continue to tinker with new songs for the upcoming album."
