Irata Pulls Out Of Tour

North Carolina's Irata has officially had to pull out of the entire tour supporting Kylesa. This news follows several delays and complications in the recovery of drummer Jason Ward after his hospitalization due to a severe leg infection early into the trek.

While the band had hoped to re-join the tour package for the remaining dates, it is no longer an option. Jason Ward has issued a statement on behalf of Irata about the situation:

"I wanted to send my deepest apologies for having to cancel our part in the tour. I know that both Kylesa and Stu at United Talent went out on a limb to even put our band on the tour to begin with. I don't know what was worse; having to deal with the infection in my leg or having to miss this opportunity to tour with the best.

"I never thought in a million years that I would be taken out by a random, severe leg infection that seemingly came from nowhere; I don't understand it myself and I am still trying to work through it. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to try this again soon! Until then I am going to continue to rest while starting to work on another tour to support the Sweet Loris release. Thanks again to everyone!"

The tour continues through early next week, headlined by Kylesa with support from Inter Arma and Indian Handcrafts. New Irata tour dates will be confirmed and announced in the near future. More...

"'Eyegasm' is the opener song of the album, and represents the perfect bridge between 'Samaroid Dioramas' and what we’re going to face in the new record. Lyrics and music lead listeners through this new path, which is very different from the past world but with continuous recalls to it.

"From dreamy atmospheres to resounding distortions, 'Eyegasm' contains all the main characteristics of our sound today, to dive the listener into the wide concept described. Through complex guitars weavings and constant percussive patterns, this song gives the first taste of what you will experience during the entire listening of these 9 songs, a last physical and mental trip to reach the end: the hallelujah!"

Mirror Streaming "Galleon"

From unlikely origins, dark forces have been summoned, in the form of the self-titled debut album by brand new occult heavy metal alchemists, Mirror. A work of rare passion, drama and intrigue, this collection of mighty conjurings is set for release via Metal Blade Records on November 13.

Mirror is the musical brain-child of prime mover, bassist and diehard metal connoisseur Tas Danazoglou (Satan's Wrath, ex-Electric Wizard). A chance meeting with producer and drummer Jaime Gomez Arellano led to the pair hitting on a shared vision of a classically aligned outfit that drew inspiration from the epic amplified landscapes of lore.

They were soon joined on this quest by Satan's Wrath axeman Stamos K, and their fate further sealed by the arrival of the mightily operatic tenor of vocalist Jimmy Mavromatis, before the ouroborus was completed with the arrival of Los Angeles-based guitarist Matt Olivo.

As a precursor to the album' release, today the galloping sounds of sixth track, "Galleon," can be heard below. More...

Zombie Motors Wrecking Yard Signs With Napalm

Napalm Records had to look literally at the other end of the world to find these crazy lunatics in Australia. Sebastian Muench, A&R for Napalm Records, comments on the brand new signing with Zombie Motors Wrecking Yard:

"Zombie Motors Wrecking Yard is probably not the easiest band name to remember but already the demo tracks like 'Fight, Fight, Fight,' 'Galactic Motherfucker,' or 'Roll N Burn' are straight up sucker punches to the face in a dirty fight! Pure raw anger, tits and gasoline liquored up to wash down the desert sand on a hot day in Victoria! We are proud and pumped to have ZMYY join the Napalm Team!"

Vocalist Ran adds: "Zombie Motors Wrecking Yard are fucking stoked to be in the Napalm Records Army, we are busily working away on our debut album, of Australian dirty rock n roll styled stoner galactic blues and destruction. We are recording in factories, strip clubs and back rooms with booze and weed staining the walls, why do it like everyone else when we can do it the way we want? We are hanging in Europe and fly the Aussie flag and rock with our European brothers and sisters. If you dig choppers, muscle cars, girls n rock done dirty, then we are here to serenade you while you right yourself off... We are the galactic mother fuckers from the wild west of Victoria, fuelled on gasoline and running on empty."

The upcoming album is already scheduled for 2016. More info & news are coming soon, so stay tuned. More...

Dave Mustaine Slams Fired Guitar Tech

It's that time again - having been awhile since Megadave put his foot in his mouth, now he's released a video online discussing why he fired a guitar tech after problems at last night's show in Brisbane (Australia).

The clip, available below, showcases Dave's sterling personality explaining how the tech was a "total waste of skin and life" although in his defense at least this time Dave's rage was focused on giving the fans the best show possible, and not on some political or religious bullshit.

He apologizes to the fans attending the show, stating they "deserve way better than this jerkoff did tonight" and goes on to further the slam the tech stating "But you know what the funny thing is? He has to live with himself. And as of like right now, I'll never see his stupid fucking ass again."

So did anybody catch the show and see what the problem was that got Dave so irate? Let us know what went down in the comments below.

Megadeth's lineup has been shaken up lately with the departure of Drover and Broderick to create new band Act Of Defiance, being replaced by Chris Adler and Kiko Loureiro. Megadeth is also gearing up to release new album "Dystopia" early next year, with an advance track online and available for streaming over here.

Conducting From The Grave Calls It Quits

California outfit Conducting From The Grave will now be putting the band's name to the test, having just issued this announcement about deciding to call it quits:

"Hey we have been putting off announcing this now for a long time, because goodbyes are never easy, but we are no longer an active band. It may not come as a surprise seeing as how we went from playing 200 shows a year 5 years ago to 3-5 shows a year recently. The long story short of it is much the same as most underground metal and hardcore acts - we all grew up before our band was able to achieve any realistic financial stability for 5 people to pay rent and raise families on.

"That being said however, we want to send off with as much of a proper bang as our adult lives will allow. During the month of January 2016 we are open to booking weekend farewell shows in the West Coast region. Promoters can email graveconduct@yahoo.com if interested in booking us in their city. More...

Eddie Hermida Re-Joins All Shall Perish

In an odd twist of events, Eddie Hermida is now back in All Shall Perish (he left the band back in 2013 to front Suicide Silence) but is apparently also still full-time with Suicide Silence - the very issue that drove the wedge causing him to leave his original band in the first place.

Hopefully it works out this time. It would appear there was also further conflict in the band behind the scenes involving a lawsuit, as All Shall Perish issued this press release:

"How perfect that today is Back to the Future Day! All Shall Perish co-founders Matt Kuykendall, Ben Orum, and Caysen Russo are back together with Hernan 'Eddie' Hermida and Chris Storey. (Start the DeLorean!). The deathcore titans hailed by fellow Bay Area dwellers like Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Robb Flynn (Machine Head) are making new music.

"Hermida fronted All Shall Perish on all three of their most recent albums: 'The Price of Existence' (2006), 'Awaken the Dreamers' (2008), and 'This is Where it Ends (2011).' Hermida will continue in his role as full-time vocalist for Suicide Silence.

"Orum plays guitar on all four All Shall Perish albums. Kuykendall, who created the name All Shall Perish, drums on all but the most recent. Storey was a fan-favorite guitarist from 2003 to 2009. Hate, Malice, Revenge (2003) era guitarist Russo returns to the fold. Original vocalist Craig Betit also plans to contribute.

"Nearing the conclusion of a legal arbitration over control of the band’s name, unpaid royalties, and other assets, bassist Mike Tiner declined a personal invitation from Kuykendall to rejoin his ex-bandmates. The legal system ultimately ruled in favor of the four out of five original members, their longtime vocalist, and guitarist. Russo will handle bass duties for All Shall Perish. More...
