Throwdown's new album "Haymaker " came out today in the US. You can check out samples of the entire album off the "Haymaker E-Card" and from there you can download two full tracks off the album in MP3 format, "You Can't Kill Integrity", and "Hopeless".

Dillinger Escape Plan's First Coffin

The Dillinger Escape Plan have a new song called ‘Baby’s First Coffin’ featured on the soundtrack for upcoming movie ‘Underworld’. The band are currently writing material for their next album, which they hope to have out by the end of this year. Among the confirmed titles are: ‘Troy’, ‘Panasonic Youth’, ‘Bipolar Bear’, ‘Apollo’s Creed’, ‘Universal Beauty’ and ‘Sunshine The Werewolf’.

Edguy Enter Studio To Record New Album

German melodic metallers EDGUY have completed the songwriting sessions for their new album, "Mysteria", and have entered the studio to begin recording the CD for an early 2004 release through AFM Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Mandrake" will feature a musical direction that has been described by vocalist Tobias Sammet as "epic, heavy, [and] melodic," and will include a collaboration with the German film orchestra Babelsberg (SCORPIONS) on an as-yet-undisclosed track.

EDGUY's double live album, "Burning Down The Opera", entered the German Media Control album chart last month at No. 57.
