Pain of Salvation Update
It's been quite some time since Swedish Progressive Metal band Pain of Salvation has released some news. But today their homepage has given some news about what's to come.
First, the reason for the longer abscence in the media is that Daniel Gildenlöw was busy building an own recording/mixing studio and artwork office during touring with PoS and Flower Kings. Yet seemingly there was enough spare time to write a whole album. "Be" is the title of the next studio album, scheduled for a release in spring 2004. The album bases on a concept about "you, about the world that we all inhabit and the patterns we all participate in. ", Daniel writes on the band's homepage.
Those who can't wait to hear the new material can go to Eskilstuna, Sweden to listen to the new material played live on whole scale, featured by a 9-piece orchestra in late August/ early September. Pain Of Salvation will also release an Unplugged album in fall 2003. It was recorded during an unplugged show on May 12.

An official release date will be announced soon.
Deathwitch are the brainchild of mainman Terror, and are a band uncomplicated by any pretension and undistracted by any thoughts of political correctness or consideration for any other human being on the planet. Napalm Death Finalize Tracklisting
British grindcore pioneers Napalm Death have finalized the track listing for their upcoming collection of covers, entitled "Leaders Not Followers 2".
"This is very much in the same vibe as the original 'Leaders Not Followers' six-tracker, if not even more raw," NAPALM Death frontman Mark "Barney" Greenway told Blabbermouth.net. "Of course, writing your own songs is always a blast, but covering stuff from the past that you believed in so strongly just cranks the fun element up to the max. Again, I hope the importance of some of these metal/hardcore/punk standards to today's extreme scene shines through like a great big fucking beacon."
