Place Of Skulls Get Bassist

After a number of false starts, Place Of Skulls have finally settled on a new bassist. It’s Dennis Cornelius, who joins the band featuring former Obsessed/Saint Vitus frontman Wino and ex-Pentagram guitarist Victor Griffin. They release new album, ‘With Vision’, in September.

A PERFECT CIRCLE have set "Weak And Powerless" as the first single from their upcoming new album, Thirteenth Step, due out on September 16 through Virgin Records. The single will hit radio on August 4th.

Gadget Sign To Relapse Records

Shortly after BURST signed to Relapse Records, Swedish grindcore maniacs GADGET have followed suit. GADGET have signed a worldwide record deal with Relapse and plan to start recording their new, untitled album at Gothenburg, Sweden's Phlat Planet Studios with Fredrik Reinedahl (BURST, DIMENSION ZERO, IN FLAMES). Their debut album should be out in early 2004.

Gadget previously released a split 7" with EXHUMED with Relapse in late 2001 and has made appearances on Relapse's Swedish Assault compilation.
