Nightmare Announced For 70000 Tons Of Metal 2023
French power metal veterans Nightmare has been announced as the latest addition to the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2023 lineup. The eleventh edition of the cruise will set sail from Miami on January 30th and will head to Bimini, Bahamas before returning to Florida on February 3rd.

Epica Debuts "Sirens - Of Blood And Water" Video
Today, symphonic metal titans Epica finally unleash "The Alchemy Project," a unique collaboration featuring 13 bands and musicians who co-wrote and performed the 7 new tracks with them.
For this special occasion, Epica present another true gem from the release, in form of a music video for a hauntingly dark track with a majestic chorus: "Sirens - Of Blood And Water" was co-written and performed with melodic metal queen Charlotte Wessels and folk/black metal pioneer Myrkur, and together with Simone Simons, these 3 leading ladies of heavy music form the most spectacular trinity of this autumn.
"Charlotte and I go back many years, but we never really worked on music together. Since she started releasing her solo songs, I became an admirer of her work and reached out to her to create a song for 'The Alchemy Project'." Simone Simons remembers. "That collaboration resulted in the beautiful haunting song, 'Sirens - Of Blood And Water'. We both have a fascination for mermaids, the fairytale from H.C. Andersen and wanted to write a song from the perspective of the sisters of the little mermaid. I loved how our creative minds flowed into the song and having Myrkur, who happens to be Danish just like the author of the story, add her unique voice to the song was the perfect match that we needed to complete the story."

Dun Ringill Signs With The Sign Records
The Sign Records are happy to announce that Dun Ringill has joined the label for the release of their upcoming, double concept album "Where the Old Gods Play Act 1 & 2." Formed in 2017 by current and former members of various groups including The Order of Israfel and Doomdogs, this Swedish six piece have developed their very own sound, where Nordic folk, doom and progressive metal meet mystical, storytelling lyrics. Dun Ringill’s double concept album will be released as two separate albums during 2023 and 2024 respectively, and the first single ”Awakening” is available on all streaming platforms from the November 11, 2022

This opening song from the our album starts off with the sound of the waves breaking against the shore with distant bagpipes being heard, before the heavy folky-doom takes the listener on a menacing dance between light and darkness . The bruised and scarred Lucia (main caracter of this concept album), has just woken up on the sea-shore to start her unpredictable journey…
The storyline is set in 1904 on the Isle of Skye in Scotland where Lucia, with low self-esteem from her troubled past, meets a local church group which is led by a strong, charismatic and manipulative individual.
The music of the album carefully reflects the main story which unfolds. Behind the dramatic backdrop of the Scottish highlands, we follow Lucia’s dark inner journey which will form her personality and mind, leading to her Awakening. More...
Bonecarver Shares "The Reckoning" Video
Brutal death metallers Bonecarver has celebrated the release of their new album, "Carnage Funeral," out today via Unique Leader Records, with the release of their blistering new single "The Reckoning." You can check it out below.
Bonecarver commented on the new single: "Inspired by the film of Robert Eggers “The Northman”, 'The Reckoning' is a story that talks about the feelings surrounding the wrath that we fill when we pursue vengeance. Apart from horror and gore movies, we also love superhero movies so we thought that the video for 'The Reckoning' is the perfect mix, as well as being the song with the most crushing riff on the album."
