Amoral Announces European Tour Dates
Amoral will be touring Europe with Amorphis and Before The Dawn in October. The tour lasts for one month and the bands will play in 14 countries. During September Amoral is still touring in Finland.

Cryogen Finishes Recording New EP
Cryogen has issued the following update about finishing the recording of their new EP:
"In case anyone doesn't follow us on Twitter (@CRYOGENband), the new EP is 100% complete. After a slightly extended mixing/mastering session last week at Flatline Audio, we got the final product which has really turned out amazing! For this release, we pushed for a less 'controlled' sound than Dave usually gets from us. The result was a more open and punishing production which really compliments where our songwriting is right now. Johan Lindstrand To Appear On New Impious Album
Impious has issued the following update about Johan Lindstrand making a guest appearance on their upcoming album "Death Domination:"
"We recently added our long time friend Johan Lindstrand (One Man Army, ex-The Crown) to the Death Domination mix. Johan contributed to the album by doing some vocals on the songs 'The Demand'. It's great to finally have Johan adding to our sound again for the first time in years! Johan is an amazing vocalist and he totally rip shit up on this track!"
Johan Lindstrand also commented on the colloboration:
"I've known Impious since they first started back in '94. Both on a personal, friendly level as well as on a professional level. I played the drums on their first demo and now I do some guest vocals on their new album. Always a pleasure to do stuff with them and especially on this new one that I feel is their strongest one yet. It's one hell of a speed ride with a lot of passion to it and I feel very honoured that they asked me to join them on a song. They will do great with Death domination."
In Mourning Posts Drum Recording Footage
Sweden's In Mourning has posted drum recording footage from the recording sessions for their upcoming album. The video clip can be viewed below. In Mourning also issued the following statement about the video:

Sylosis has issued the following announcement about canceling their upcoming U.K. tour dates in October:

The Firstborn Cancels Ilha Do Ermal Open Air Show
Portugal's The Firstborn has issued the following update about canceling their appearance at the Ilha do Ermal Open Air Festival:
"It is with deep regret that The Firstborn have been forced to cancel their appearance at this year’s edition of Ilha do Ermal Open Air Festival. This decision, conveyed and explained to those involved, is due to personal and professional reasons, and does not merit or justify any further speculation.
"We wish CE – Dream & Seduction, as well as the crew, bands and audience who will be there, a great festival on all levels, hoping that we may make up for our absence in a forthcoming edition.
"The band is preparing the follow-up to the critically acclaimed 'The Noble Search', and will only endeavor in sporadic live performances until the release of the forthcoming album, 'Lions Among Men', due for recording in mid-2010."
Former KISS Guitarist Suing The Band Again
TMZ is reporting:
Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent has sued the band several times since he left the group back in 1984 - but this time he's thrown a cable network into the mix.
Vincent is suing the band, along with A&E Television Networks, for using his image without his permission. According to a lawsuit filed earlier this month, Vincent claims his image was used in a DVD boxed set called KISSology Volume II. In addition to that, Vincent claims his image image was used as part of the 'roast' episode of A&E's show Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
Vincent also claims Simmons defamed him on an A&E show called Private Sessions, though he doesn't specify what defamatory statements were made.
Vincent is seeking unspecified damages.
Onslaught Speaks On Rock Area Festival
British thrash metal legends Onslaught has checked in with a report on Germany's Rock Area Festival, after the band recently performed at the event. The message reads as follows:

Bay Area thrash metal legends Forbidden has posted a brand new song online entitled, "Adapt Or Die." You can listen to the song for your self by heading to the groups official Myspace. A message from guitarist Craig Locicero reads as follows:

Black Sabbath To Re-Issue More Albums
Heavy metal godfathers Black Sabbath have announced that they will be re-issuing their albums, "Volume. 4," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Sabotage", "Technical Ecstacy" and "Never Say Die!" on September 21st. Unlike the recent re-issues of the albums, "Black Sabbath," "Paranoid" and "Masters Of Reality," there will be no bonus tracks on these releases.

Gwar frontman Oderus Urungus talks smack on ANTHRAX and LORDI in his latest edition of his "Ask Oderus" advice column on MetalSucks, in addition to tackling topics such as crabcore, Hitler, and having sex with whales. An excerpt follows:
