Impaled Lose LeBarre to a Lobotomy
Impaled guitarist / vocalist, Andrew LaBarre has left the band. Here's the tongue in cheek anouncement:

Stampin' Ground UK Tour to Feature New Line up
Stampin' Ground will be hitting the road in the UK in November and December in support of their new album, A New Darkness Upon Us, released by Century Media in Europe on October 27th.
These shows will be the bands' first since their Sepultura UK support in July and the first with their new line-up, after long serving bassist Ian Glasper has decided to step down from the band.
Finding it increasingly difficult to give 100% commitment to the band, founder member Glasper is instead opting to concentrate on his family, his record label, writing a book and other journalistic interests. A full statement can be read below.
Ian did, however, want to finish the latest album before bowing out and Stampin’ Ground are pleased to announce that his permanent replacement is Ben Frost, former guitarist in UK metalcore band Unite. No stranger to Stampin’ Ground, Ben has known the guys for six years and was seen playing bass with the band on the Sepultura UK tour in July. More...

Ephel Duath's Tiso Starts Imprint
Ephel Duath mastermind Davide Tiso has launched a brand-new label imprint through Code666 Records, dubbed Amaranth Recordings. According to a post on Ephel Duath's web site, the label "will work with genres usually not touched by Code666, like post-rock, electronic, trip-hop, post-hardcore and dark wave.
"The word 'amaranth', beyond to being a clear callback to the Ephel Duath's album 'The Painter's Palette', efficaciously encloses the concept that lives behind this label: 'amaranth' comes from the ancient Greek, is the substantivized present participle of the verb 'amaraino', it means 'not to wither, to be durable'. The connection is simple: to produce music that goes out from the actual consumerism and standardization being something that last in the time, something than does not wither."

A new show will be set up as soon as possible. And the band is currently working on the next and final album to be released on [Nuclear Blast Records].
